“I was pleasantly surprised by this place! Typically, I think twice about coming to Sushi places in strip malls, but the ratings drew me in, and I was not disappointed! I went ahead and got myself assorted sashimi and some miso and all of it was delicious! It was a little on the expensive side, but my tastes for sushi/sashimi do tend to be that way, so I don’t mind as long as it’s worth the price. “have visited this restaurant since I was a child that used to be a Mexican one they tried another kind of restaurant before City gourmet opened and I'll tell you what this restaurant will become a staple we had the chicken and a white wine sauce with rice pilaf and sauteed cabbage it was amazing my husband had the steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli absolutely out of this world she's going to do very well here you should go in and try it for yourself“

“I genuinely have nothing but positive things to say about Kabar! I reached out about an omakase catering event for my sister's bachelorette party. Tommy called me and we had an in depth discussion of everyone's budgets, likes, dislikes, etc. He was incredibly responsive and a pleasure to work with and helped curate a fully customized menu. The chefs arrived early and were extremely accommodating to everyone's preferences-- and the sushi was so delicious! They created a very interactive program where they even taught us how to make a roll! Our experience with Kabar was unique and memorable. I could not recommend them more!“

“I arrived on an early Friday night. It was busy. I was seated and I didn’t get a menu until 15 minutes later. After I placed my order, it arrived fairly quickly. I ate the Firecracker roll and the Shoyu Ramen.

I personally don’t like sushi but the firecracker was AMAZING. I’m definitely coming back only for this dish.

Shoyu ramen was 1/10. Don’t bother.

The decor is pretty out dated. The place is wheelchair assessable. There is a parking garage right across this restaurant. There are a few parking spots outside but they were taken up at the time of visit.“

“Though only limitedly open, Mr. Lee prepares the best sushi that I have ever had in my area (and outside of it in many cases).

His prices are extremely affordable, a large menu from which to choose from and he provides excellent service to you either as you wait or for carryout.

He is very friendly and I've noticed, while waiting for my food to be prepared, that he has many repeat customers (besides myself) with whom he greets warmly.“
