“We went through the drive through when they first opened and the girl on the speaker kindly explained that not everything was ready to go and her computer was slow to start up. We placed our order anyway and she had us pull up. We waited about 5 minutes for some delicious chicken littles and fries. Great service and great food!“

“Food- awesome! Some of the crispest chicken I have had recently. Its crispy like what you remember as a child when your parents took you to that southern chicken shack. The sides are also good... mashed potatoes are an "uplevel" version of what KFC makes. Sashito peppers are worth a try as well and are usually my second side. Service- good in general.... Call your order in as the App will tell you your food is ready; but it wont be. They will give accurate time if you call in your order. Ambiance- its better than chicken shack but since this is primarily carryout driven (they do have a few tables) dont go here for a first date.“

“Whoever was working the fryer at 3:00 on 3/14/24, you are the Fryer King...Lord of the Deep Fry. DoorDash Guy drop of the finest Chicken Shack I ever had. The chicken was hot and perfect, those potatoes were on point...but how do onion rings show up after a long drive with heat and crunch? No greasy fingers either. Tell the boss to start throwing in two BBQ sauces with the forty pack for me. Is that really where they need to save money?“

“Not as good the last 3 times going there. Chicken is smaller and lacking seasoning. I keep trying, hope whoever is doing the seasoning goes back to what they were doing. They also should check out getting a new chicken supplier, last time we got all dark meat the drum sticks were the size of a small wing! The thighs were very small also.I love this place, but 3 times in about 4 months I have trouble going back each time.“

“Slim Chickens is the latest addition to the Oakland University food court. It is a chicken sandwich/tenders/salad shop. The food is very good, perfectly spiced and is freshly cooked. Unlike some of the restaurants in the food court, the staff at Slim Chickens are very efficient. They process process orders quickly and I've rarely had to wait more than 10 minutes, even during the busy lunch hour. I highly recommend Slim Chickens and will be back in the future.“

“Always expect to wait 30 min for your food even if they are not busy. I guess that's Louisiana fast, lol. My order is never right. I was there after the lobby closed, so there was no way to get the items that they forgot to put in my bag. No one would answer the phone, and they did not provide a receipt, so I just went home. I seem to only have this problem at this location. I'm almost always disappointed but it's the only one in 15 miles or my house and my wife loves it. I'm always hopeful but rarely impressed. The food I did receive was good.Parking: Only a few spots and hard to get in the spots“

“This may be the best location in Michigan. All KFC chicken is good, but this was perfect. I ordered in the app which I highly recommend because size there are deals there not available in store. I arrived a bit early for my order, but went inside and told them I was there and my order was made fast. I waited Inside, which was very clean. I will definitely will be back to this location. I do hate how small their sides have become, but that’s a corporate issue.“

“Went in to grab lunch with my mom the store had 3 employees running the entire store. The dining area was clean the employees very polite and they provided fast and excellent service. I was honestly impressed bc I know how stressful it is to be shorthanded and the choas that usually ensues but not here, it was like they are a fine oiled machine and everyone does there part effeciently.“

“So I personally LOVE this location so much so I drive all the way from Troy to get KFC from this specific location! I order on the app (just started doing this lately), choose the pick up time and they have delivered excellence EVERY SINGLE TIME!! Super friendly, asking me for my name, confirms the order and filling it! They are the location to get it right every single time no matter how busy. “Ordered online and set a pick up time which I highly recommend because there’s lots of deals when you order online instead of going in like normal. Our food was ready when we pulled up, but still hot so it wasn’t sitting. The young lady working the drive thru was friendly and the order was correct.Dietary restrictions: I don’t think they serve pork“
