“We met friends for Wednesday's half off burgers at 24th Street Sport Tavern, in the historic district of Oxford, MI. It was a well maintained older building, with a unique atmosphere!! I didn't think I could eat the entire half pound "Tavern Burger" but it was SO Good that I couldn't help myself!! The server was pleasant & attentive, keeping us supplied with everything requested! We had a great time with wonderful friends & an amazing casual meal! We'll be back!!“

“We go for a night out ambiance, and it gets really noisy and active. I often see people I know. I love their breakfast options especially since this used to be the CJs brunch spot. Also love it when they had the crab cakes, on the menu, or anything with goat cheese is a win. Consistent cocktail menu across their other locations. I could have sworn I got a real burger when I ordered the impossible once... or sometimes its not available, but I'm not a strict enough to care, just prefer the option.“

“There was about 15 of us that went to Art and Jakes in Clarkston on Sunday for a Detroit Lions game. We arrived a few hours early knowing there would be many people coming for the game and got a great spot in the bar area. Our waitress, Kendall, was nothing short of outstanding. The place got absolutely packed for the game, and we had different groups joining our table throughout the day, and this girl never got rattled or lost the friendly smile on her face. If we needed an extra chair or two, management was on it. From someone who spent 16 years in the restaurant industry, I know when people just get it right and they do. The food is great too, but the service is what I call "winning at the margins". It was such a fun atmosphere and a great time. “Great bar! Lots of TVs and fresh food. Neighborhood atmosphere.We had burgers. They are hand-patties- not frozen. The chicken tenders were delicious. Kids meals were good and included ice cream. We had fun and enjoyed the food and our server Kathleen was awesome!!Kid-friendliness: We had three kids. And there was something for all of them!“

“We were given a gift certificate for my husband's birthday. When I told the waitress that this was our first time and his birthday, she wished him a happy birthday and took our order. She must have overheard us talking about how they had deep fried trees, my husband's favorite. At the end of our dinner, she brought over a small bowl of ice cream with a deep fried oreo. “We've been driving by this place for years and finally decided to come up for lunch today. We basically opened the place, but very quickly it got busy and filled up. Lots of locals must come here. There was only one server for the entire place and boy did she ever nail it! This girl was running from table to table and she was amazing. Not sure if it's always like this on a Saturday for lunch but wow, she got her steps in today that's for darn sure. Hubby's fish and chips were excellent and my club sandwich was just as delicious. “First time here as a non golfer. Came for a work event. The facility was nice. Was a pretty cool place. The only reason for 4 stars on service was because i had to look for our server when i needed a drink, and i might be extra critical on customer service. “We have gone to G’s multiple times for large family gatherings and honestly this is the best location for big groups. We just had my daughter’s birthday party over there and had the pleasure to have Sam as a waiter. I have never in my life had better service than I did with Sam, what an absolute gem! He was so efficient and attentive to our large, busy group that I hope we get him every time that we go in. Food was fast, drinks were constantly filled and when we needed to cut the cake, Sam made sure that we had everything we needed including a serving spatula and a knife. What a great experience and a way to keep me as a customer for life.“
