“Glad I found this wonderful ice cream shop on Yelp! I was looking for something not mainstream. It's a short drive from our house on the west side of Kalamazoo but with it. I would personally recommend the strawberry shortcake and in the Autumn the pumpkin pie flurry.“

“12/10 would recommend! I have been seeing posts about this place and am fairly new to the area, so I needed to stop in. Went on a Sunday afternoon and was greeted by the owner. Jamie and I have a delightful conversation and she was extremely friendly and nice. I went knowing I wanted the Cherry Cordial Mocha Frap and ordered a medium, mistake should have gotten a super large! It's about a 20 minute drive for me and thankfully because I would need to be there everyday if I were closer. I'll be back at least once a month to try new flavors!“

“The bad: Outdated dining area with dim lighting, and our waiter was extremely polite but had terrible body offer and it was extremely strong which isn't very pleasant while trying to eat dinner.The good: the drinks were very very strong and well made. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly with generous portions.“

“Love the original shop -- it has the best energy! The coffee is always fantastic, whether you like espresso, drip or pour overs. They have incredible lavender syrup, which I usually get in a matcha! Their decaf espresso is also very good, which is a true testament of good roasting. There aren't many coffee shops where I feel comfortable ordering a cortado, let alone decaf, but factory doesn't disappoint! Milk steaming and texture does vary from barista to barista... drinks are always made correctly, but the milk texture isn't always spot on. Overall, still my favorite kzoo coffee shop!“

“We visited about an hour before close on Saturday night, and the place was full of smiling people. The staff seemed rather busy hanging out with the patrons, which is just fine. The vibe of the place was very neighborhood Restaurant, and soon enough the staff noticed us and got us seated. We got the peanut butter and jelly burger, which the staff seemed a little bit weirded out by, but it was really good. The fries were also fantastic, but for $3.40, there should have been quite a bit more of them. The pizza was absolutely loaded, crispy, and full of fresh ingredients. We definitely enjoyed that as well. They have a pretty extensive beer menu, but it's on a very small screen that moves way too fast to really see. It would have been nice to have a printout or something so that we didn't feel like we were struggling to see what was available. All in all, if I were in the area again, I would probably make my way back, especially if they stop being so stingy with the fries.“

“I love Brewery Outré! The beers are unique and really good. The brewery has a lot of natural light, comfortable spaces to meet up with friends, and a dog friendly patio. Wednesday nights are trivia nights and are so much fun. The service is impeccable. Ted, Travis, Alex, and Joey are very knowledgeable and are the best!“

“I loved Green Door Distilling! Nate and I stopped in for a drink and ended up doing the tour, which they do on Fridays. The tour is $20 and it comes with a flight, which we were going to try anyway. Or you can just do the tour for $10 if you don't want a flight. It's not much of a "tour" in a physical sense as their production facility is small, in just one room, but we learned a lot about distilling in general, as well as a lot of information about the company and their products. I'd highly recommend it especially if you don't know much about the company. The interior has a 20s speakeasy feel, which I really liked. It's a little fancy but comfortable and welcoming. The drink menu was pretty large and it was tough for me to choose which drink I wanted after the flight. I ended up with the blueberry margarita because it was on happy hour. It was really great! Not too sweet. Nate got the cherry black Manhattan which we both enjoyed too. I loved the flight because we got to try pretty much all of the spirit offerings, including their amaro, Oaxacan green corn bourbon, and pink peppercorn gin, which were all unique and very tasty. Our bartender was knowledgable and very kind - great service. I'll definitely be back!“

“Pups are welcome at this pub, score! This is just a stunning perch overlooking the Meadow Run Dog Park, esp. the pond area, and it’s literal heaven. Often times they have live music and/or food trucks on site, the dogs are beyond well taken care of here, and the staff also is so, so kind to guests. It feels like your personal ‘Cheers’ where everyone knows your name environ, it’s a must see!“

“Love the hard shell taco deluxe. All their food is good and fast service prices are more than fair for the quality. I love their taco sauce and salsa. Its a good quantity of food for the price. Friendly service. Clean environment and they even have a drive thru!“

“I get all my produce here always fresh. Good quality products. They have more non dairy products here then some places. Store is cleanly and neat. Has a good deli and even fresh sushi that’s very good. Have a self checkout line too so that’s a plus.“

“Honestly my favorite coffee shop in all of Kalamazoo! It’s right within walking distance of work and I would go here everyday if I could. It’s family owned and the ladies who work here are so wonderful. They remember who I am and always ask about my day which makes the experience all more personable. The coffee is amazing and within a reasonable price even with the rising costs. I love to take time out of my day for coffee, but these ladies are the reason I keep coming back to Something’s Brewing.“

“Nice little place. Great food and great employees. They have several in the Kalamazoo/portage area. Also a location in Vicksburg. Drive there from Battle Creek there food is that good. “Went in and ordered you could tell they were swamped due to the corona virus. Got our food home our order was messed up and had a hair in it. Called in to talk to a manager and received Kevin the general manager! All I’ve got to say is you are the definition of what a FANTASTIC manager is! You were polite,calm and apologetic. You apologized and stated you were so sorry and offered to remake the food or provide a credit. I order from here atleast once a week and because of people like you KEVIN you are why I’m very loyal to this location and will to continue to be! I wish more managers were like you!“
