“We went there yesterday afternoon for a quick bite. We entered and the staff on duty went to their respective positions to serve us. It took a bit of time for me to pick which bread that I wanted because they no longer have photos of the bread by the breads named for choice. And that is a confusing pain! Why get rid of something that actually HELPS the non-regular customer make an educated decision as to what they would like their sandwich to be on? And it would also expedite the service given and thus help to shorten the line (if any). Other than that I would give them a five star rating because they always listen to how I would like my order and they come through with it. It's a great place to go if you like subs. Enjoy! :)“

“My 9yo grandson wanted to try a new place to eat lunch today so he Googled restaurants nearby his home and thought this sounded good. So we went there and found his new favorite place to eat in the world! They had fresh cut fries which he raved about! Mimi, these are so good, way better than Mc Donald's! And those were his favorite fries , lol. He also got 1/4 BBQ chicken with spicy sauce, baked beans and garlic toast. I tried their Italian beef with peppers and onions. There was more food than we could eat and it was all delicious. The owner was very nice, helpful and personable but not intrusive at all. We required a to go container for my grandsons leftovers so he now had a full lunch for tomorrow as well. Food was very fresh and well made with large portions and the restaurant was clean and full of sports memorabilia. It's a delightful change from chain places and I highly recommend it.“

You can turn any sandwich into a salad, and those are way better than they have any right to be (at least when they load it up with veggies how I like).

Local shop with Michigan roots, and I appreciate that they run a great student lunch special for a price that makes me wonder how they stay in business. A sandwich shop for the people!

“Yesterday we recently visited Firehouse Subs on Westnedge Ave in Kalamazoo to celebrate our son’s birthday, his choice and it turned out to be a nice experience. He had been wanting their subs for a while, so he was especially happy we went.

We dined in and the atmosphere was standard, clean, casual, and comfortable. The food was as expected and consistent with what you’d expect from Firehouse Subs.

What really stood out was the service. The staff was friendly and attentive from the start. When we mentioned it was our son’s birthday, they acknowledged it and were very kind, which meant a lot to him. They also brought our food directly to the table, which was a nice touch.

One small moment that stood out was when I asked an employee the name of the movie playing on the television. She kindly offered to change it, even though I just wanted to know the name to watch later. It was a thoughtful gesture that showed great customer care.

I stopped by the Subway inside the Walmart shopping center, and I’ve got to give credit where it’s due.
There’s one guy in there holding it down, and I respect that. Real humble, respectful, and easy to deal with. That kind of energy goes a long way.
When I ordered my sub, he made it quick and efficient, but still made sure it was done right. Fresh ingredients, clean setup—certified.
What stood out to me—because I take the time to do real reviews and record videos—I noticed more than I normally would. There’s a seating area off to the side and in the back, and when I turned around, I also caught the drinking fountain on the right-hand side that I didn’t notice at first.
That’s what happens when you move with intention—you start seeing more than the average eye.
Big respect to him for the service and consistency. I also dropped a video so people can see the setup for themselves.
If you’re in the area and want something quick, fresh, and made right—this spot is solid.

The crew went above and beyond to contact me to let me know they believed my card information was stolen and was being used to place several back to back orders at their store.I hung up and blocked the first caller after assuming it was a scam (poor phone service on my end made the callers voice inaudible + I’d never lived in, near, or even been to Michigan before). The staff continued to make efforts to contact me from their personal phones, and when I finally answered again they alerted me of the theft. Because of their quick thinking and continued efforts to call me, I was able to cancel my card quickly without any major purchases going through! Their local police even got ahold of me with case number to give my bank to ensure I would be refunded.I can’t thank them enough for their consideration and kindness towards me!!“

“Very good experience from Subway. It’s a bummer that you get most of the deals only through the app. We do get coupons every now and then but it would be nice to get coupons. However, I know this is not anything pertaining to this location or experience, but that being said, I miss the days of a five dollar foot long. if you know what I’m saying. I have eaten at various Jimmy John locations too many times to count and have never had an issue with something I ordered in the store. Today I decided to try their online ordering because I was too busy to leave work for lunch. The food was delivered less than 10 minutes from when I ordered it, but unfortunately my sub came with tomato and onion on it when I asked for it without. I was disappointed since I had never had a problem with my order before, but I didn't want to call and wait for a new sandwich so I picked off the toppings I didn't want. I decided to leave some feedback on the website and was called within 5 minutes of submitting my feedback by someone in their corporate office. Then the store manager called me not even an hour later to personally apologize and offer me a credit for the amount I spent next time I call and order something. “In reference to the review right before this one: them putting it in the paper bag was because it was a melt. They put everything on it, close the sandwich, and toast it in a paper bag. My little sister got a ham and cheese melt at the one in the mall and they left it in the paper bag there, too. This is honestly one of the cleanest Subways in town every time I've ever been in there (many, many times). Their meats and veggies are bar the freshest of any subway within a 20 mile radius and their toaster oven ALWAYS works!!“
