“I’ve driven by Stables Bar and Grill, and I decided to stop in one day. Everyone is super friendly, great atmosphere, cold beer, and great food. I had a couple of draft beers 🍺 I ordered a cheeseburger 🍔 and both were great! I will definitely be back!“

We had an arugula salad, watermelon salad, chipotle chicken pizza, tofutti pizza, a few bottles of cab, some delicious drinks a tiramisu and the peach pot. Rich was slammed busy and he did not skip a beat. He was pleasant, friendly and a wonderful host. We were also pleasantly surprised when we saw the lovely event space on the second level. “If you want draft beer, go somewhere else, though they do have a great beer selection. The drinks aren’t cheap, but they use quality ingredients (they juice daily), and still better priced than what you would find in A2 for the same quality.
Bottom line: if you want great drinks and an amazing staff, this is your place. Best bar in Ypsi. Plus it’s always amusing to see how short Andy’s (the owner) shorts are in the summer.“

“Been wanting to try out the food here for a while and it didn’t disappoint. We got the cheese curds and they were delicious! I wish there were more in the serving for the price. They came with a nice tasting avocado ranch. I got the chicken avocado wrap sandwich with fries. The sandwich was ok, the fries were delicious! My husband got the beer cheese burger and he said it was good, but a bit on the small side. My son got the bacon Brie burger and he thought it was good. My son and daughter split the French toast and I tried it, it was some of the best tasting French toast I’ve had. We also got ice cream after we ate and all the flavors are super unique. The service was excellent and our waiter was very attentive, could’ve even been the owner. The only thing we didn’t care for was the smokey air inside the restaurant. The cook makes things on the grill right in the open-air restaurant and it didn’t seem like any ventilation systems were on to prevent the yucky smells.“
