“Visited on a Thursday afternoon/evening. Ever since I tried blood orange on tap I've been wanting to come here to try everything else. This place does not disappoint. Some of the best beer I've tasted. Plenty of space indoors, outdoors and up top. We brought our kids along and they had a great time finding stuff to play with while meeting new people. Loaded up on beer to go back home but it'll not last long. Thanks CBC”

“The food was amazing. I had the ribs and a baked potato. The ribs were fall off the bone tender. My husband had the Parmesan encrusted whitefish with mashed potatoes and gravy. The mashed potatoes were from real potatoes and the fish was very tasty. The service was great, funny and very welcoming. We plan to come back”

“One of the oldest buildings in Michigan dating back to the 1780’s. Food and apps are killer! Service is great food comes out quick and hot. The ambience of the building is really cool. Military and law-enforcement discount. Super veteran and law-enforcement friendly. This is a great American establishment in one of the oldest Michigan buildings! I truly look forward to coming here every single year we’re on vacation! This is a staple on our trip!”

“We live in Ohio and never get fresh fish. My wife and I decided to split the fish n chips and a cheeseburger meal. Both were outstanding! I like to save what tastes best for last and I couldn't decide. The burger meal comes with kettle chips and I thought about substituting them for fries, but the fish came with fries so we kept the chips and were very glad we did. If you make say what was the best thing I ate, it would be the fresh white fish. Delicious!!!! My wife and I don't eat out very often and this was the best meal we've had in years.”

“Yecks definitely has changed a lot over the years and I hate to say it but each year I believe it gets worse.. I grew up in cheboygan and loved summertime when yecks opened now I live hours and hours away and use to get that same feeling coming for the summer “oh yes yecks!” But now I don’t get to excited,the ham n cheese use to be my favorite now not so much idk what changed but they don’t taste the same,also the service has got crappy over the years and idk how many times I have to ask for them fix things,even the small things like dipping sauce for onion rings nuggets etc i also don’t like the fact that there chili dog has sliced cheese on it n not either a cheese sauce or I’d even be ok with some shredded cheese.. I wish things would just go back to the old days when we felt excited to see yecks open and travel 5 hours get it ! And don’t even talk to me about prices 🤯 I get food cost has gone way up lately but almost 7$ for ham cheese sandwich that’s tiny is ridiculous or the deep fried ones 10.50 and they have gotten super small over the years definitely not worth that much anymore !”

“We just got married at Mission Point on July 4, 2025 and had the best experience!! Julie Suddon and Charlotte Mills and the entire staff were incredible. Julie was super responsive and sweet from start to finish. Super easy to work with and just a nice person. She transitioned us to Charlotte Mills to do the actual planning and the transition was super smooth with tons of communication. Charlotte was equally impressive. Her communication was great from start to finish as well and fantastic for our rehearsal and the day of the wedding. Just super smooth from touring to actually getting married. We were so thankful for the wonderful and professional communication which eased any stress we could’ve otherwise had! We are so happy we decided to choose Mission Point and recommend anyone do the same if looking to get married on Mackinac Island!! Food was great, bartender was great, the vendors were chose were all on the suggested vendor list which made things super, super easy! Just so smooth, cannot say that enough! “We ate here while on a bicycle trip. It's a good restaurant right along the main street and was recommended to us. Food and service were good, though a bit slow. Sitting on the patio outside might have made the atmosphere more appealing, but we didn't want to sit in the sun. It's a good restaurant, though I don't know how it compares to others in the area since we only had one meal while on the island.”

“Had both the chili with corn bread and the burger with pork belly bacon, egg, cheese on a brioche. Everything great - good service and knowledgeable staff. Craft beers and live music was a bonus along with the outdoor patio. Highly recommend - great getaway from the chaos of the island.”
