“I live in Port Huron, and never been to Kates! I went there and the food is fantastic! I will be a regular now. If your visiting, you have to go there to eat. They offer breakfast and lunch! I haven't had their breakfast yet. I heard they have the best breakfast. I will be going to enjoy breakfast next! They also have Vegan menu!❤️??“
“I was visiting from out of town and needed my coffee fix. Having found none of my go to Biggby I thought I'd try this place. This was the best coffee I've had. I would highly recommend them and will be back next time I'm in town.“
“They always take good care of me, even though I order wonky stuff like asking to make a skillet vegan. They're so helpful and accommodating, just ask :) kitchen looks clean, servers always doing their best to keep a great mood throughout the restaurantDietary restrictions: Knowledgeable staff can help with almost any question“
“The Raven Cafe is always a huge delight. It is one of the few places worth checking out in Port Huron, and is a must for taking out of state/out of country friends and family to. The vibes are always right, and the food is always delicious. Plus if you go during certain nights they have cool things like live music and even trivia! It's worth checking their events. :) There's a reason I call it my favorite piece of home.Vegetarian options: While I'm not a vegetarian, I know for a fact they offer vegetarian options, which are clearly marked on their menus. And if you ever have questions the staff is knowledgeable enough to help guide you.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options marked on their menu, and they also offer almond and oat milk alternatives if you get any coffee shakes. All you have to do is let the waiter/waitress know. I can't have regular dairy, so I always get their coffee shakes with no whip cream and almond milk instead of regular.Kid-friendliness: The building in some areas in narrow, so I wouldn't advise letting kids run around. That said, I do see a lot of folks take their kids in, and they offer board games, books, and even have an area upstairs for children to play at. I've never been there where it's ever been an issue for parents to bring their kids to. In fact, I think kids would find it to be really neat and super cool. They also have a menu option for kids.“
“Ordered breakfast and a sandwich to go. Everything was good but I wish they'd use larger style of breads for toast and sandwiches, etc. It's very tiny. Egg salad soaked through as it's really tiny, narrow bread. Service was friendly and food was good for our group.“
“Absolutely amazing! We come here everytime we have a date night/morning! They are always very sweet and come up with some of the best combinations! I highly recommend them to everyone. Hangover? They got you. Tired parents, and dont know what you want, they have you! Really the possibilities are endless here and I love this place. They are always friendly and very patient(I'm indecisive). I will definitely miss them when we go to Florida! When we visit michigan, it's a must now.“
“I had an iced latte and it was amazing. I also brought home a Nanaimo bar and a cinnamon roll. The Nanaimo bar was delicious, but I wasn't very fond of the cinnamon roll. The baristas were so kind and welcoming, as well as knowledgeable!! Thanks for a great experience!“
“Best coffee shop in Sarnia. I have been their client for the last 6 years and both locations are just amazing. I must say the credit goes to the owner for being on top of things and training his staff really well. The downtown location is my most fave but both serve amazing food and have super friendly staff.“
“The service was excellent! Knowledgeable staff, she knew her menu well and was able to take the flavours we explained and make them into drinks! The drinks...fantastic!! It was our first time having bubble tea, it won't be our last. We will definitely be back to this establishment!!“
“We had a wonderful dinner at Grind last night. The service was great. Our waitress was so friendly and cute. The drinks were wonderful, I had a Blueberry Mule, which our Server recommended. I ordered the BEST beef tenderloin, which was amazing. Quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. My husband had Chicken Parmesan and it was also delicious. We will definitely be back.“
“Such a cute spot! Just popped in for a coffee, but was too tempted by the rest of the menu not to try the smoothie and cheese scone. I also bought the most heavenly scented soy candle that came with a great review from another customer, and a gorgeous doggie cupcake (which I forgot, and the lovely cashier ran out in the rain to catch me).Amazing customer service. Amazing food. Amazing coffee. Looks like they do so much more! If I'm ever back in point Edward, I'll be popping in for high tea for sure!Vegetarian options: As a vegetarian I was pleased by the selection of vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: This is going to sound weird, but my dog developed a lot of weird allergies in the last few years (started losing his fur and not eating) and the waitress carefully reviewed the ingredients with me to try to prevent a reaction. So far so good!“
“Have been eating at the Pelican for well over a decade now. I don't go often or even once a month. However, each time I have gone there to eat, it's never a disappointment. It's a great spot for breakfast, and it's not too hard on the wallet either. The dining area is peaceful and welcoming. Definitely give this place a shot if you haven't been there.“
“The cashier was absolutely wonderful. Answered all my friends question and was very knowledgeable about their menu. Ordered clubhouse sandwiches and they were delicious. Was roughly $30 per person for a sandwich, soup, drink and cookie.Parking: Large parking lot out front.“
“In Sarnia today to pick up a Marketplace purchase which turned out to be around the corner from this location. My friend had a turkey bacon club and I had a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. Service was excellent, food was great, and a box of 6 butter tarts followed me home.“
“We have gone to Selina's quite often and the food is always delicious, the service has always been good, and the food is served promptly. The prices are reasonable as well. Love the decor and atmosphere...very nice. We usually go for a breakfast...sometimes for lunch. They are open Friday evenings as well, so if we are in town that evening, it is a nice place to go for a great meal.Dietary restrictions: My husband is diabetic and doesn't eat the potatoes so they will substitute the potatoes for a fruit bowl for small cost.“
“I've only been twice so far (I'll be back often) the employee's are very welcoming & energetic. Another location that I've been to plenty of times has the very opposite atmosphere & often feels unwelcoming. Port Huron Nutrition is my new go to spot ?“
