“I really enjoy the atmosphere and the selection of meals. It is a little more expensive than other places downtown, however, aren't most places that are worth your time? I've had great service each time I've been there and been very happy with the meals and staff.“
“The Raven Cafe is always a huge delight. It is one of the few places worth checking out in Port Huron, and is a must for taking out of state/out of country friends and family to. The vibes are always right, and the food is always delicious. Plus if you go during certain nights they have cool things like live music and even trivia! It's worth checking their events. :) There's a reason I call it my favorite piece of home.Vegetarian options: While I'm not a vegetarian, I know for a fact they offer vegetarian options, which are clearly marked on their menus. And if you ever have questions the staff is knowledgeable enough to help guide you.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options marked on their menu, and they also offer almond and oat milk alternatives if you get any coffee shakes. All you have to do is let the waiter/waitress know. I can't have regular dairy, so I always get their coffee shakes with no whip cream and almond milk instead of regular.Kid-friendliness: The building in some areas in narrow, so I wouldn't advise letting kids run around. That said, I do see a lot of folks take their kids in, and they offer board games, books, and even have an area upstairs for children to play at. I've never been there where it's ever been an issue for parents to bring their kids to. In fact, I think kids would find it to be really neat and super cool. They also have a menu option for kids.“
“I decided to check Junior Baker out while walking past with my three year old son. He was instantly obsessed! every time we are downtown he asks " junior baker open?" They are amazing and friendly here & they remember him by name. he's insisted on checking if they were open on a Monday, and was so sad they were closed. the owner heard him from the back & came out as we were walking away to bring him a cake pop. This is a favorite because of the AMAZING customer service & every thing we have tried has been absolutely delicious. I love that there are vegan &, gluten free options too. thank you Junior Baker for being so amazing & becoming part of my son's weekly rituals!“

“A nice place to visit if you are into homeopathic and organic living. Nice selection of ant based cleaners, organic meats, vegan foods and natural medicines. Plenty of literature and staff support as well. And Nathan is on hand for massage therapy (at least he was pre COVID and not sure how that is now). The prices are high for plenty of things but so are most non- mass produced foods.ybwife goes in for essential oils and some odds and ends. When I am at the doctor's office next door, I peruse the store for snacks. Those seeking THC free edibles can stop here as well. Supportive of people in the recovery community as well. They are a good source for healthy living education.“

“Staff were friendly and helpful, washroom was very clean, location has lots of parking and is well maintained with no overflowing bins or litter. There is water outside for dogs.I ordered the cold brew coffee and it was quite good actually, I finished it quickly as a result. The treats and food on display was also quite tempting but maybe next time. Over all a really good option for many reasons.“

“Bar food. I never get the pizza here, best thing on the menu is the Big Dipper sandwich. Hidden menu item is the cactus cut nachos, very spicy. Drinks are a little on the weak side unless you get beer. Staff have always been great.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly on restaurant side.“
“In town on business, I saw this pub as a passer by. Parking is in the street, but plenty of space. I entered, made my way to the bar and promptly greeted by the bartender. They have a full bar, about maybe 15 beers on tap, and a full menu. I had a big lunch, so just a quick beer and sweet potato fries. (They were each fantastic!) Maybe the best $10 I’ve ever spent. This place has it going on! My overall experience was excellent!Parking: Parking is parallel on the street, but we’ll lit and plenty of space.“
