“After our family tour of the Iron Mountain Iron Mine, we stopped at The Pasty Oven, and it turned out to be a great choice. It was 87 degrees outside and the air conditioning was down, but the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable — even sharing their fan to help cool things off. Despite the heat, the experience was excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. A memorable stop with genuinely kind people and great pasties. Would definitely return.“

“Great food and great service!“
“Today brunch is my third time coming here, I like the broasted chicken here because it is juicy and crispy, along with the Frikadelle and BBQ ribs as well. Everytime when my friends don't know where to eat, I always recommend them to come to the Brick.
By the way, I am the guy with a red Morrocan Fez hat lol.“

“First time here. Nothing overly special about the place that makes it stand out but there was something about it.
First, had to wait a sorry time due to crowd so ordered a bloody Mary, not so good but price reflected this so it's a pass. They should literally practice making these better as they are drinks that are compared to other locations. The snacks that usually are in bloody Mary's were limited to mushrooms and olive. Nothing else. Practice practice practice.
Food.... could not get get fish because it's a Friday only thing..i get it but then put that on menu. Ended up going with deep fried mushrooms and chili. Now, bar none, the mushrooms were the best I've had in a long time. Great flavor, HOT, and not greasy tasting at all. Top notch! The chili tasted great and would be considered under rated by looks alone but the flavor was very good. Above all else the food was HOT. As in hot, not warm not like warm but hot. And this is bringing up their rating.
The server was a cutie with great confidence and took control in all situations and took no bullshit. A little rude but in a confident way. She broke it to us that they had run out of a number of things and choices were changed to fit the short comings in supply.
All in all, it was a very good dinner and the cost reflected that.
Atmosphere was bar room eh. A bit Hap hazard but what's to be expected at a bar.
May be back again.
Definately worth a go“

“The great thing about Greenleaf is that it truly has something for everyone. It features a solid sports bar scene with craft beers, an extensive menu that goes way beyond traditional pub food, great family-friendly vibes, and excellent service. Plus, they’re open on Sundays, which is a rare find in this area!“

“Three friends and I were visiting from southern Wisconsin... and we wanted to go bowling. We were staying in Iron Mountain. We originally had gone to the bowling alley there, however while waiting at the bar for a lane, the man running it was so offputting and rude we didn't want to stay. We asked him about Uptown and he said they were his #1 competition. So we said thanks, cancel our lane, we're heading over there. So glad we did. It's definitely a little run down, you may or may not get shoes that fit, or even a ball that fits, but the atmosphere and the employees were amazing. Food was good... although they do refer to beer dip as beer cheese ? Not good on the soft pretzels, but awesome on the burger!I'd definitely go back.“

“I was there today for a quick breakfast, and I was grateful the hostess seated me in a discreet booth. I was not ready to be around other patrons at that moment in my day. I got the Mexican omelet, very good, lots of meat, and filling. I had leftovers as I could not finish it. The waitress was prompt, asked me how everything was. I had an orange juice and she also gave me an iced water. I only have to recommend that there should be napkins on the tables as I need a lot more napkins. the orange juice was a bit expensive.“

“Any time we're in the area we make sure to stop in. Food is great, but he service is EXCELLENT, especially Maggie! Please don't listen to the many reviews referencing breast feeding. It's quite clear the person who was asked to be discreet posted in some moms group and a gaggle of people who've never eaten here decided to leave a review. It is what it is, I guess. You should definitely eat here and Maggie deserves a raise!“

“First time. I had the Italian Combo. We had a short wait since we were a party of 6. The hostess was friendly, the bartender was friendly and so was our waitress. Everything on my platter was homemade. Definitely a 5 out of 5. I will be back!!!“

“Pool, Hot-Tub & Sauna is the best in the Iron Mountain, Michigan area. Staff needs to have more professionalism with Pool Guests. Power was out Friday night from 6pm -10pm. Restaurant Staff was sent home due to the power outage. My family survived no back up lights in our Lodge Room for the 4 hours. Power came back on at 10pm, and our kids were hungry. Food purchased from Famers Restaurant is only allowed in the Pool Area. Which we have always been respectful to and ordered all of our food from them. We ordered Pizza Hut and assumed due to the Power Outage and the restaurant closing, we would be allowed to eat our pizza in the pool area. However was told due to their policy, we were not allowed to eat in the pool. Which did not make sense to me since they waived the policy to allow our kids to swim later than the 10pm deadline due to the power outage. This lady also stood guard over my daughter while she paid the driver for the pizza in the front lobby as if she was going to run into the Pool area with the Pizza!! That was very odd behavior!! Anyways the next day we are in the pool again, power stayed on all day (High Five)! A family brought in pizza from Little Caesar's (We were thinking - Oh boy here we go!!) They ate the pizza and about an hour later, an elderly lady who worked the front desk with a Service Dog (Sweet dog) came into the pool area. Pool area was very loud with kids screaming. Dog was very scared with his tail between his legs and he was directly behind her. While she asked a group of families in the Hot-Tub who had brought in the pizza, her dog was being swarmed by a little girl about 5 years old, wrapping her arms around his head and squeezing him. The front desk lady did not look back to check on him. I mentioned to the Front Desk Lady, that he looked very scared. She then walked to the door and stood watch over the family to remove their pizza and walk out of the pool. All the families were shocked and the family with the pizza looked very embarrassed. For the safety of the elderly (guessing disabled) front desk lady, her service dog, the children, and everyone in the pool area I am shocked that they handled this in the manner they did. It happened a second time, later that night when it was 9:55pm, she came in again and reminded all parents with children that 10:00 was approaching and all children had to leave the pool area. She stood in the pool area again for at least 5-10 minutes watching and waiting for all families with children to leave. To me this is Overkill!!! If it were my business, my guests, my pool and my staff, I would have asked the family to come to the front desk to discuss the policy, not embarrass them in front of everyone! The sign is posted on the door, but as we all know, not everyone reads signs!! But for the respect of your guests, this should be handled in a much more respectful manner!!!“
