“Wow, super good food! While driving through to Mackinac Island, we went out of our way to this restaurant. We wanted good yet healthy food, and because of how people have raved about the food we went. My husband and I loved how the food looked and tasted, so delicious! I had an awesome chicken salad with the BEST butternut squash soup I’ve ever had in my life. My husband had a Cuban sandwich and their other delicious soup. He couldn’t stop raving about his food either. I took another Butternut Squash soup to go. I can’t wait to visit Applewood Eatery again!! Awesome service too!“

“This place was amazing!!! The staff was friendly and helpful! The food was spectacular and the atmosphere was so calm and relaxed. We ordered the coconut shrimp which came with housemade coconut sauce that was to die for and then a thin crust pizza which every aspect was incredible!! Best pizza I've had in awhile! It was our first time here but definitely not our last!!!!“
“I have ate at this place two times and have not been disappointed. Food is awesome home cooked food with love. Service is great. The lovely woman who had served us, both times, makes you feel like you have known her for years. You never have to wait on food. Andy's also has daily specials not just for breakfast but for lunch. Best food I have had in Escanaba so far. Will definitely visit again and recommend.“

“We had to sit outside because we had a dog. The deck area is not very pleasant to look at. The tables were wet from the rain and the waitress said she didn't have any dry towels. She didn't offer to find napkins or paper towels either which seemed weird. Otherwise she was very pleasant.. when the sun came out, the view of the bay was nice and the deck out by the water was very nice . Food was good.“
“We hadn't been here before, but decided to try it. Impressed all the way around! Food was great and surprisingly reasonably priced. Staff members were great, but had to wait quite a while to get the check. Overall, an excellent experience. We'll be back again now that we've tried it!“
