“Wonderful restaurant in beautiful Sister Bay. We had a wedding rehearsal dinner party of 40 and the service was exemplary. The food and drinks were top notch as well. Thank you to the entire staff and management for making our family evening so memorable.“
“Consistantly good pies, fun venue and good-natured staff. Beautiful views of the bay a great area to walk after taking in a meal. Right on the main strip in Door Co so it is usually a struggle to find a parking spot. Always enjoy our visit here and we will return!“

“Went there tonight for dinner with my husband. He had the perch dinner. I had the seafood chowder & whitefish sandwich. Let me tell you, that chowder was SOOOOO good!! I'm going to rave about this because I just loved the taste. The rest of our food was good too. Definitely would return when coming back to Door County.“

Neat little place!Kid-friendliness: My only caution would be that if you're dining with kiddos, this may not be what they're looking for. “Love this restaurant. We try to get to Barringer's every time we get up to Door County. Excellent steaks and love the shrimp cocktail. We also had the special which was halibut and it did not disappoint. If planning a trip to Door County, make reservations at Barringer's and enjoy a wonderful meal.“
“The food and atmosphere was great but the lady at the front that greats you ruined are experience she yells at everyone even at a old man she has no respect for anyone. That girl should be running horses instead. She is also bartender I would not be surprised if she had a few drinks herself.“
“Went a couple of times for dinner in and out of season. Long list of delicious drafts, wished they had some German ones on it. Food was good and served promptly. Blonde waitress was attentive and friendly, seems like she's been working there for a while which is great. Kid friendly, plenty of space and even arcades which are mostly unused. Had a great time and felt like a local. Really homey vibe and people minding their business. Sort of divey but in the best way possible. Will be back for sure.“
“This is the best place for dinner in Door County - all around a really excellent meal. The server we had was super friendly and answered all of the question that our party had about food and drinks and went to check a few things with the bartender even. I had the French onion soup, which was divine, and the table shared chicken and goat cheese wontons which were crispy and rich. I ended up having the duck which was a big portion and absolutely delicious. It was done perfectly and the sauce was an excellent complement. I had a slice of paradise cake to go, and it was also just so good - really nice flavors but also very light so it wasn't overwhelming after a big meal. I included a picture of the tin Celine because I just liked it so much - the inside has quite a vibe but overall it's a cozy place for a nice meal“
“I ordered a ribeye steak. First couple bites were good but after that it was mostly gristle. We told waitress but she didn't do anything about it. My husband had the prime rib which was really good. Very disappointed. We've been there before and it was always good.“
“The food was absolutely wonderful except dessert. Fabulous tenderloin steak and chicken marsala. We would order these again and again. But, when your waiter says "the all too often overlooked dessert", there is likely a reason. We were served a very dry "Slice of Paradise Cake" which was Keylime Pie, Coconut Sponge Cake & Passion Fruit. Sounded wonderful until we were served a small slice so dry that the two of us couldn't finish it. Other than dessert, we were absolutely happy with our meals and would return.“
“Thank goodness this place was open ... when another restaurant decided to randomly "close the kitchen" at 8pm tonight (open til 9, though...), we made our way here. We are NOT bar people....although my husband and I have been alive a combined nearly 3/4 of a century, I can count on both hands the number of bars we've been to between us. This was a redeeming bar experience... good food, low prices, pleasant service. Even if you're an out-of-towner and having a "late" dinner (which I guess is relative), you can find respite, along with good wraps, pulled pork, wings and more here.“
