“We stayed with Collin and Sarah last week. The Roots Inn is a lovely place and the food is delicious and very unique! You can tell they have poured their hearts and souls into this cute B&B! The atmosphere is fun, lots of areas to sit and relax and the location is awesome- just a short walk to most everything you can do in Sister Bay! They even provided a nice storage location for our e-bikes we brought with which was greatly appreciated! Thanks for the great stay- we will be back! 💙🍒“

“There are several Italian restaurants in Door County. And yet, once again, there I was...in the land of whitefish and walleye. Eating pasta from my very favorite place to eat pasta. I swear these people have an Italian chef being held hostage in a cooler full of perch....Creating absolutely insane pasta dishes. Like the current special which involves Green goddess sauce with pistachio and I'm pretty sure... fairy dust. Oh, and have I mentioned the cocktail creations? My latest was made with gin infused with baobob. (Oh ... and the seafood is awesome too)“

“Lena, Charlie, and the rest of the staff at the Northern were amazing. The pizzas were amazing. It is rare to find a place that gets the dough and the sauce right, but they did it perfectly. They went out of their way to make our event fantastic. Is there a sixth star?“

The bread was so good as well as the side salad. It was our 1st time trying LURE and it was 10/10 and we will be back!! “When in Door County we try to stop at the Shoreline for a Whitefish dinner. Some of the best if not the best in Door County. It is at the end of Door County so plan on a nice drive up to Gills Rock. In the fall the view of the colors is a plus to the great food. The service is always friendly. They have more then Whitefish for those non fish people. It is well worth the drive.“
