“Was really looking forward to a smoking hot cup’ a Joe and a biscuit sandwich, but Crain decided he’d take a little vacation, treat himself. Hope it was worth it Crain, I had to settle for an inferior product!Next year when I make my winter pilgrimage to Door County, you better be in operation.“
“My wife and I love coffee and this place did not disappoint! We tried the Iced Mochas with a sausage and ham breakfast sandwich. Both of which were really good, the coffee was not burnt or bitter but just right and the sandwiches were hot, and we'll worth the money. The staff were super nice as well!“
“Sara who answered the phone to take our reservation was so friendly, helpful and so sweet! We ate inside and it was so good. We had the salmon and steak and both were amazing! The bread was so good as well as the side salad. It was our 1st time trying LURE and it was 10/10 and we will be back!! Can’t wait to try everything on the menu as it looked top notch… keep doing an amazing job LURE! Even with it being such a busy weekend- service was quick and top notch!!“
“Stopped here after a bad experience at Blue Bear across the street. Everyone was so friendly! The coffee was amazing (I chose the light roast Costs Rican) and the best cup of coffee I've had in years. Beautiful atmosphere, and gifts that are different than all the others in door County, who tend to sell the same items. They have wine and cider, baked goods, and salads, etc. It smelled amazing in there!!! Wish it was in Egg Harbor, but will make the trip back up for it“
“Top-notch pizza!! Service was so friendly, offered me a seat while I looked at the menu and waited for my takeout order. You can tell the dough and sauce are all fresh and homemade. None of that greasy, flavorless pizza you get from the big chains. The pizza sauce just pops. Was very close to returning the next day just to buy one of the jars of sauce they sell. Missed opportunity on my part! We'll be back again!“
“If you like pie, you need to come here! The Pie Lady is passionate about what she does, and will make sure you leave with something you like, that you will have time to bake to perfection. She discouraged us from getting a whole pie, because we weren’t sure we would be home long enough that evening to bake it properly, suggesting instead several of the small individual pies, and they did indeed take a long time to bake, so we enjoyed them for breakfast - so delicious! They encourage you to call, but even had several varieties of gluten free pie in stock.Dietary restrictions: They had several kinds of whole and small individual gluten free pies available frozen when we stopped in, but offer a larger selection if you call ahead of time.“
“Such a unique and lovely hidden gem in Door County! This place is tucked away in a quiet corner right outside the usual chaos of Sister Bay. We came for lunch and were seated on the patio out back. The inside was a super cozy, rustic vibe, decorated beautifully. Their menu is small and mostly vegan. Thoigh, they do have a brat special that changes weekly (can also be made vegan). They have new specials every week, which is what I ordered. It was a curry wrap with sweet potatoes, raisins, apples, and more delicious fillings I can't quite remember. It was tasty and unique. I got the vegan kale Caesar on the side which was perfectly made. The person I was with ordered the walnut tacos and absolutely loved them, they looked delicious.“
