“This is not only one of our favorite places we’ve stayed in Door Co, but also one of our favorite breakfast/coffee stops! It is such a great location in Sister Bay, short walking distance to everything - the park, beach, restaurants and shops. We have stayed multiple times and have always loved our cozy beds, clean rooms, and ease of check-in and booking. Their breakfast and coffee options are delicious, and every staff member is always so kind and friendly. We have recommended this to many friends who love it also! Do yourself a favor and book them for your next trip if you haven’t already!Walkability: Very short walk to nearby shops, restaurants, the beach, park and more!“
“My wife and I love coffee and this place did not disappoint! We tried the Iced Mochas with a sausage and ham breakfast sandwich. Both of which were really good, the coffee was not burnt or bitter but just right and the sandwiches were hot, and we'll worth the money. The staff were super nice as well!“
“My heart is broken. Leroy's is closed this season. I see people stopping by and sitting at the tables, I guess just for pure joy of being there. They bring their own coffee and drink it there. For one moment I thought that maybe it is open, but no. That is just that. So sad.“
“Stopped here after a bad experience at Blue Bear across the street. Everyone was so friendly! The coffee was amazing (I chose the light roast Costs Rican) and the best cup of coffee I've had in years. Beautiful atmosphere, and gifts that are different than all the others in door County, who tend to sell the same items. They have wine and cider, baked goods, and salads, etc. It smelled amazing in there!!! Wish it was in Egg Harbor, but will make the trip back up for it“
“We stopped in here twice during our vacation and the barista who I think may also be the owner was so friendly and gave some great recommendations for food in the area. We tried the banana bread, mint mocha, chai tea, hot coco, and 'bee'mer. Everything was really good!“
“We stopped here for coffee while visiting Ephraim in door county today. The atmosphere of this place was beyond expectations! Such cool and colorful decor with a diverse menu of drinks and food. Not to mention a second floor filled with fun gift shop goodies. This is a must see if you’re driving through the area. We had a glass of Pinot and a salted caramel mocha. Great service too from everyone there!“
“No better coffee in Door County, or for that matter, probably many other places. The place is a little janky inside, but apparently they are keeping the money “on the field”. It’s just good coffee, end to end. Fresh roasted, ground and brewed on site. A couple of observations, it looks like there is a local following, and I can’t blame them, lattes here are like world class. Do yourself a favor and buy some beans to go, or order some online to be delivered, there’s a good chance those beans were roasted not too long ago.“
“Blue Horse Beach Cafe was such a fun stop! My husband and I loved the drinks we got, he got a double espresso and I got a large iced chai, my chai was pretty milky, but still delicious. We waited for 15 minutes before going up to ask where our drinks were. They had lost them in the business and kindly made them right away. It was no problem at all and they were super nice about it giving us a cookie for our troubles. Overall it was a great experience, the staff was very sweet!“
“Fantastic lattes, all the food was wonderful. We had a variety of dishes with our group and all were very good. Neat little place!Kid-friendliness: My only caution would be that if you're dining with kiddos, this may not be what they're looking for. Check the menu ahead of time, especially if you have a picky eater.“
“On a road trip to acquire a prized frog relic at an art show (for my friend’s daughter) I stumbled upon “Tea Thyme” on the way home.Earlier I had slammed my toe into a large silicone spoon looking thing/art piece I unfortunately have a lot of arthritis in me joints, the decision to pull over was a no-brainer, and what a serendipitous stop it turned out to be.The exceptionally kind staff, with their genuine smiles and attentive care, recommended a star tea blend renowned for its healing properties. My toe felt kissed by a leprechaun!”Tea Thyme”provided quite the refuge, where everyone is welcome, even if you are the problem.“
