“I have never experienced service like this before! Jordan C was so wonderful, going above and beyond. She helped us make the best choices on the menu, and even helped us with our various dietary restrictions. The food was sublime! THE BEST BRUSSEL SPROUTS EVER!!! Everything was fresh, tasty, and delightful! The appetizers were mind blowing! We had never tried Cheese Curds, and we literally moaned eating them! Every entree, a huge portion was so satisfying! The desserts were the perfect closer! Jordan C recommended all of it, and she was right! We were thrilled! “Friday night fish fry, it was ACES!! ?Great food excellent on every level. Friendly service, clean and nice atmosphere, great taste, excellent price value. Got the perch, largest size perch I have ever seen. Salad bar included in the dinner. Only 16.99 for five large pieces of perch, potato, baked beans, dinner roll and salad bar. WELL WORTH THE PRICE!!!“

“We had been here several years ago on our way back from Minnesota. It was one of the best meals and experiences I’ve had at a diner that we had no info about. We’ve talked about it several times.This weekend we were up that way and decided to drive the extra 45 min to have dinner there. Unfortunately it was not on the same level as our past experience. Both of our coffees were so full of grounds they were all around the rim and it was like swallowing dirt. It was disappointing cause it was not hard to see grounds all over to rim of the cup and should not have been served. We both tried something different than last time and it was ok, which is fine but it def wasn’t amazing as our first visit. We did get a chance to get in the little shop behind the restaurant tho and that was a highlight.“

“Wow, super good food! While driving through to Mackinac Island, we went out of our way to this restaurant. We wanted good yet healthy food, and because of how people have raved about the food we went. My husband and I loved how the food looked and tasted, so delicious! I had an awesome chicken salad with the BEST butternut squash soup I’ve ever had in my life. My husband had a Cuban sandwich and their other delicious soup. He couldn’t stop raving about his food either. I took another Butternut Squash soup to go. I can’t wait to visit Applewood Eatery again!! Awesome service too!“

“We like to eat here EVERY time we visit the area. Friendly service, GREAT food, fair prices! (I LOVE their breakfast 'meat lovers' omelet, & it is HUGE!) Here, I KNOW I'm going to get a delicious meal when I'm feeling starved. Yes, I certainly recommend!???“
