“I randomly decided to stop here on my way back to Marshall from Kalamazoo the other day with my son. I always see it but never thought to stop. I’m so glad I did because the daily specials were cheap, the food was great, and the service was kind. Great cup of coffee as well.“

“The staff is always very kind, my food is warm, and it’s quick. Unfortunately the unique lodge feel of this location has been lost and when you go inside more times than not the staff is spread too thin to take an order but, kiosks are a available. Not my personal favorite when going inside but drive through is efficient. Good location overall.“

“Always love coming to the Frank St location! The coffee special can usually be made as a matcha, which is how I ended up with an amazing iced baklava matcha latte (that I went back for a second one of that week!) If you can catch any of the events going on they are well worth going to. The space is beautiful to hang out in with board games and a photo booth, and staff is always polite. Highly recommend coming in when you have the chance.“

“Had a red pepper soup du jour and a cup of drip coffee. Coffee was perfect and the soup du jour was super tasty and satisfying. The people who served us were kind and genuine. Music was pleasant, unobtrusive, and at an appropriate volume so I could focus on conversation with my family without the music setting off my auditory processing disorder. Really impressed by how enjoyable it was to be here! 🙏“

“I was on the hunt for a coffee shop that a) makes great coffee and b) doesn't have music playing! Why does everywhere feel the need to play music? Water Street Coffee - friendly, helpful and attentive staff. The shop itself was small, nicely set up, and best of all - no music. I came, expecting to take my coffee to go, and instead sat and lingered and then had a breakfast sandwich.“

“I order my coffee on the Bigby App so that I can cut my wait time down. I still have to wait inside because they never have more than one person making drinks and can never make a bagel in under 25 minutes. Ridiculous.“

“Baristas are always helpful and kind! A friend and I went through the drive thru yesterday and when we got to the counter to pay, the barista told me it was on him. He had heard me saying I was having a terrible day and wanted to make my day with free coffee. It was so sweet & unexpected!“

“I just stopped here after three years of Not having sweet water! I stopped in at the drive-through and Olivia was amazing! Her customer service was amazing and it’s hard to find that nowadays! She even was able to show me the difference between a yeast donut and a cake donut she was just fabulous! I couldn’t remember what donuts I ordered, and she even gave me the sheet of all the donuts that I had got! I will definitely come back when I have more chances! Thank you, Olivia 🫶🏻“

“I didn’t get the gentlemen’s name but great customer service by the two gentlemen taking orders. They were smiling and striking a conversation with me and my youngest son. Way to go to those two guys. Thanks for making my day. My youngest even said mom that was great customer service. Keep it up.“

“Java Jones has coffee and espresso prep down to a perfect science without being pretentious. I love a good latte and their pumpkin spice was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted. The barista, Jake, was knowledgeable and friendly, and gave me some good tips for my homemade latte experiments. From start to finish, even roasting their own beans, this family owed coffeeshop is one worth the visit!“
