“We ate a late lunch today and weren’t wanting dinner really. So we decided to go out for dessert instead. We tried Shock Gelato for the first time and it didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was very nice. I held the door for a group of lady customers as I was entering and they were exiting. I heard them say, “I love this place.” A group of young people that came in behind me shortly after were speaking amongst themselves while we were waiting to be served. They were also taking about how much they love this place and how they were here at the Grand Opening or first day open. I knew I had made a good choice.

Kenny and Olivia were the servers and they did an excellent job taking care of the guests. The place was busier than I imagined a frozen dessert style restaurant would be on a late Sunday evening. Regardless everyone was served swiftly but with attention to detail. We had a group of seven and at least three groups of 5 or more came in behind us. I didn’t see one customer that was dissatisfied whatsoever.

There are so many flavors in the showcase. I wanted to try them all!!! I understand that they rotate the flavors too so perhaps next time will be a totally different experience. I can’t wait to come back and try some more. They do allow you to sample multiple flavors. I tried 3-4 before just placing my order. I don’t think that it’s possible to pick a bad flavor. I ordered the largest size so that I could get three flavors. All three were splendid. I’m already excited for my next visit.“

“I don’t usually leave long reviews, but Crumbl honestly deserves one. I stopped in pretty randomly, just planning to grab a couple cookies… and ended up walking out with a whole box because everything looked way too good to pass up.

First impressions: the store was spotless. You can actually see the team mixing dough, scooping, and baking everything right there. It feels more like a bakery than a chain. The staff greeted me right away, didn’t rush me, and even gave me honest opinions on which cookies were actually their favorites instead of just upselling. That alone made the experience feel more genuine.

Now the cookies—unreal. I don’t know what kind of magic they use, but these things are huge, warm, and soft in the middle without being raw. I tried the classic chocolate chip first just to get a baseline, and it might honestly be the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve had from any bakery. Perfect balance of crispy edges and a gooey center.

Then I tried the weekly specials, and that’s where they really hooked me. Every flavor actually tastes like what it’s supposed to taste like. The textures, the toppings, the fillings—nothing feels lazy or thrown together. You can tell they put real effort into each recipe, and the presentation is ridiculous. These things look like they belong on a commercial.

Price-wise, yeah, they’re a little more expensive than regular cookies, but these aren’t regular cookies. One is basically a dessert all by itself, and the quality backs it up. I don’t mind paying for something that actually tastes like premium ingredients were used.

Overall, Crumbl surprised me. I thought it was just hype, but I get it now. Great service, great atmosphere, and honestly some of the best cookies I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back—probably more often than I should.“

“Our local Baskin Robbins in downtown Lake Orion did a spectacular job on my son's birthday cake this month! Their edible paper printer was broken so they gave me options of how to print myself, and also offered to decorate by hand as best as they could. They knew my son wanted a Harry Potter cake so they made the Gyfindor crest in chocolate and it was such a hit! The cake was ready for my dad to pick up 10 minutes late which wasn't a big deal because it was a lot more work to decorate by hand than they had planned. The decorative cookie sandwiches did melt by the time the cake got to my freezer so I will not order that design again but that's my own fault, not theirs! 9/10 would recommend and will be ordering my daughter's cake for next monthf rom them as well!“

“I usually get a medium chocolate ice cream on a cone and that is plenty. Their team works fast and gets through lines so you're not waiting long. If there is no line, your order may be done before you've paid. I'm never satisfied with the sweet treats here.“

The Tres Leches Cake Crumbl Cookie needs to be illegal in at least 17 states. One bite and I ascended to an emotional plane where I briefly forgave my enemies, remembered childhood birthdays, and questioned if I had ever truly tasted moisture before this moment.

The cookie itself? Buttery, soft, just the right level of dense.
The tres leches topping? Creamy, rich, thick without being cloying — like the center of a good hug or the first time someone sees your worth without you asking.

And when that milk-soaked texture hit my tongue?
I audibly said “Mmmmf GOD.”

I don’t know what type of Latina abuela Crumbl summoned for this recipe, but she worked overtime. And she deserves royalties.

“Today I went into Culvers on my lunch around 11 am. The food was good and fresh and the bathroom is clean but the entire time I’m eating I hear “The boss” as she refers to herself yelling at one of the workers.. telling this worker that they will be fired and other disciplinary measures .That should be handled in the office not screaming across the floor. Overall the location is clean and the workers are nice. Someone needs to teach “the boss” how to talk to the workers. This is one of the reasons a lot of places face a high turnover rate. Other than that great food and great atmosphere.“
