“Mmmm I love love love the sushi burritos here at Jaku! I have yet to find another place in Grand Rapids that sells these! You get a large sushi burrito for a reasonable price, I can normally split this up between two meals if I'm ordering out. I have dined in once as well, and the restaurant is very clean and the service is extremely efficient. My dad and I showed up after work and we were so ready to eat, and our apps and entrees were served within minutes! My favorite sushi burrito is pictured here - the Fire Crunch burrito!“

“Oppa Sushi and Korean has plenty of sushi options. But with Grand Rapids having limited Korean food options I will leave the review for this. The Champong(Spicy Seafood soupu) and Soondubu(Spicy tofu soup) was particular good. The spicy broth was superb. Spicy but not too salty which I like. Also had the hot stone bibimbap. This is the mixed rice bowl they cook in hot stone with red bean paste gochujang. Mixed vegetables with bulgogi and egg on top. Hopefully they add more Korean dish options. The new location is bigger than there previous location. And the food has improved too.Parking: Shared parking lot with Qdoba“

“The sushi is AMAZING but I took a star off because... this was our 2nd or 3rd time there, and I thought perhaps it was a fluke based on what we ordered the 1dt time. But all of our rolls have come out sitting in a tray of liquid. Not exactly soy sauce, and it has great flavor, but unless your eat the roll really fast, the last half of the roll ends up with really soggy rice on the bottom and the rolls start to fall apart. Again, the flavors are amazing, but why sit them in liquid... if it's meant to accompany the rolls, serve it on the side. Moving forward, we will ask for that sauce on the side to avoid a mess. Again, food is excellent, just an odd presentation.“
