“I’ve always wanted to try food from Verona Inspired Italian! I regularly check out their weekly specials on Facebook and couldn’t wait to finally try them out. This was my first visit to the restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious and amazing. We started with the bread and butter- yes, we actually started there because it was that good. We even asked for another basket! Then came the Eggplant Tower, and wow - it was fantastic. I’m a big fan of eggplant, and this dish was perfection: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with fresh mozzarella, tomato, and pickled onion. You really need to try it to understand how good it is. For the weekly special, we had the Emperor Red Snapper. Absolutely incredible. The Tomahawk Pork Chop and the steak were both delicious as well. Our cocktails and beer were spot-on. Service? 5 stars. Thank you Joy M. The menu has so many tempting options, and we definitely want to come back and try more. P.S. That bread? We took another portion home. So good.“

“I have tried dang near half the menu and love it all. the cannoli is hands down the best I've ever had. Everyone I've encountered there has been nice and helpful. Highly recommend stopping in to this place!“

“Wanted pizza, not carry out, real pizzeria pizza; you know, dine in. Not too many dine-in pizzerias around much lately. Drove 40 minutes to get there. Love 900 gradi (degree) pizza. Also had Carpaccio di Filetto: thinly sliced raw filet mignon, with peppery arugula and lemon vinaigrette, topped with shaved parmesan. And a nice bottle of Amarone to go with it all. Great date night after being home bound for days due to snow and freezing temps! Good, prompt service. I suggest making a reservation, especially Saturday evening.“

“My Dad is currently in the hospital battling sepsis. We’ve had a difficult time getting him to eat. He asked for lamb chops, so my husband searched until he found Filippa’s. After hearing our story, they made his lamb chops special for him before they were technically even open. Outstanding customer service, and delicious food! We cannot thank them enough ☺️“

“Good gracious, let me tell you about Salerno. First, these portions are ENORMOUS. I can eat 2-3 meals on a $7 portion of anything on their menu. Second, it taste soooo good! We did a self guided tasting menu, spent $60, fed 3 adults with healthy appetites for no less than 3 meals each and we still have left overs. Third, these owners were soooo nice. So friendly on the phone, super quick preparation, so kind when we picked up. Yes, yes and yes!“

“First time trying Detroit style pizza and we knew we wanted to try Buddy’s. We weren’t totally sure what to order, but luckily Dejuan our server was incredible! He gave us wonderful recommendations, great service , and he was just fun! We had a delicious meal and a great time. We had 2 different kinds of pizza and the famous antipasto salad and it was all so good! So much so that we are going back tomorrow for more! And the manager Rondah stopped by our table to make sure everything was great and we let her know how happy we were with our entire experience, a true testament to what a great job she is doing running everything! We also loved that this is the original location on Conant St. and has a cool mural outside and such a great ambiance inside! If you are in Detroit this is the place to be!“

“On 12/27/22 my husband and I hosted a dinner for 18 to celebrate the marriage of my daughter and fiance. Everything was superb. Our server, Cindy, did a remarkable job. Couldn't have asked for anything more. The food was excellent, as well as the Sambucca.“
