“We came on a Saturday for couples night. Staff was very nice, but the music is extremely dated and it's hard to find anything worth dancing to, we stayed from about 9-12:30 and not a single good dance song played, but they played down with the sickness!?

The women's bathroom stalls don't lock, they are saloon doors that open out, but my husband said the men's room has locking stalls.

They have a room in the back where they allow smoking.

No local beer on tap or bottle which was super disappointing. How does a Michigan bar not have Bells? There is also a 3.5% surcharge on any card transactions, which seems dated.

Overall I could see this as a brief meeting spot, but not somewhere to spend your night. The music is not good, they play grainy music videos from the 80s/90s most of the night and when they aren't playing this, they play what looks like softcorn porn from the 90s from a large screen on the small dance floor.“

“We held our private event in the enclosed patio at Firebird in Troy. The patio was heated and decorated to look like a lodge. All of our guests felt like they were in a homey environment. The food and the service was impeccable. Our guests were so pleased at the attention to detail and the promptness of the serving staff. The event manager, Jenna, made the entire planning process easy and stress free. She helped us set up our buffet menu and was there day of assisting in decorating and making sure everything was in order. I would highly recommend hosting a private event here and plan to do so myself for future events!“

I love that he greets all guest and will even bring your food out himself. For starters we had the shrimp and crab cakes. They were crispy on the outside and melted in your mouth. The surprise with these was that there was whole shrimp inside. We loved it. The sauce on top was just the right amount. The salmon with saffron rice, coconut curry sauce and green apple slaw was the best salmon I've had in a while. The pairing was new for me but it worked. The salmon was juicy and perfectly cooked. When paired with everything on my plate it was like fireworks. Everything popped and was amazing. My husband had the beef strudel. Now he was thinking it was gonna be like a beef wellington but no. When he put his fork into the perfectly crispy flaky crust and into the most tender beef either of us have ever had, OMG. With the first bite all he could do was say "WOW"(sorry about how loud he was). The flavors of that plate were incredible. The blueberry cheesecake was the icing on the cake. It was perfect. Sweet but not too sweet and the smear of lemon sauce on the side elevated the flavors. The drinks. I had the rainforest and my husband had the Johnny Manhattan. When we saw how small the glasses were we were definitely worried. That feeling quickly faded with the first sip. The drinks may be small but they are strong and delicious. We had to pace ourselves with those. Overall, I give this place a 10/10 and will definitely be back again soon. Thank you to everyone there for a great time and for great service.“

Heather, the manager, was attentive and professional from the initial meeting about renting the space, all of the planning and throughout the event. All of the staff were so fun and kind! They kept everything organized and the drinks flowing during the reception. We had a wonderful experience here and we are so glad we chose this as our venue! So disrespectful. I got glutened after I spent $200 on my meal and was assured I had chosen gluten free dishes and precautions were being taken. Like look, I get it. Food allergies are a pain in the *ss but if you can't accommodate people with them don't lie to your customers. There are lots of other places in the metro area who do take allergies and medical conditions seriously. Way to ruin my birthday. Im going to be sick for a whole week because I have Celiac Disease.
