“I am not a food critic. But I have the time while flying back home to reflect on dinner last night. The experience was so amazing that I had to leave a glowing review. I seldom take the time to do so.

Marrow is top shelf dining experience. My friends and I went all in with the food paring ($90) and drink paring ($45) options. Pricey but well worth it. 3 small but flavorful starters, a wonderful pear salad, a chorizo and gnocchi dish head of the main event… a 7oz flat iron steak cooked to perfection over a bed of lightly smoked and tender pinto beans finishing with a single scoop of chestnut ice cream. But that was just the food. The drinks were carefully paired with each course. 5 in total. Each one balanced bitterness, sweetness, and acid with each course. My mouth was alive as if it had been raised from the dead. It was so amazing that I forgot to mentally note each drink so I could describe them in the future.

This place is a diamond in the rough. I only wish I had met the chef and the team behind the incredible experience.

I am from Los Angeles and have plenty of great places to dine. My visit to Detroit to watch my friends compete in an indoor track bike race was punctuated be this celebratory dinner.

If you love incredible food with thoughtfully pared drinks, I cannot recommend Marrow enough.“

“For my 65th birthday and my soon to be dauhter-in, laws 25 birthday we celebrated at J. Baldwins! The food was excellent. Soooo good, I've never had better food. I even ordered 2 other meals and dessert to take home! I recommend this restaurant as a 20 on a 1 - 10 scale it was that yummy! 5 stars!“

I recently had surgery and can't stand to cook and Andary's has been our go to with carry-outs, in the past week I've become hooked on Friday's fish & potatoes, Saturday's city chicken, Wednesday's stuffed cabbage, and Thursday's corned beef & cabbage, everything is awesome along with getting soup & salad with every entree is amazing! “Tuesdays are $1.50 coney island hotdogs. I ordered but the toppings of chilli mustard diced onion was REALLY what I paid for. Today I spoke to one of the delightful (and Gorgeous!) waitresses and told her I hoped to have EXTRA not OVER the top onions and mustard and what I got were THE BEST CONEYS!!! I paid a small UPCHARGE but boy was it worth every penny! Way to go Antonio's Coney Island STILL with the best Coney AROUND“

“Came in today and had the chicken tortilla soup medium and the medium tenders and fries. My kids had the same but instead of soup they got waffles. Everything was amazing and will gladly be back for more. The staff were super friendly and approachable and big ups to front cashier and waitress Mari. “This place has been around for almost 20 years and this was our first time. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and they offered us a private room, “The Hop Room”. We can’t say enough about the food, staff, and overall experience. We’re beer nerds, so our party basically tried every beer on tap. I should have gotten a growler of the Disco Lemonade. All of the brews were SOLID. Between burgers, pizza, apps, and their craft sodas, everything was on point. Not one person in our party had an issue with their food or drinks. Except for a small sample of their grapefruit mead. That’s a no from me dawg. But seriously, everything and I sincerely mean EVERYTHING else was on point. Our server was fantastic and on the spot with everything. Show this place some love.“

“I’m new to the area and ordered pizza and breadsticks from here a couple weeks ago..it was delicious.. Today, I found myself too lazy to cook for myself again and again I put my trust into passport pizza. I was not disappointed. This time I tried the bone in wings. Boy oh boy, when I tell you they were the best carry out wings I have ever had.. I mean it..I was unsure about the mango habanero sauce so it was suggested when I ordered that I get them with the sauce on the side. Well, I ate all of the wings and I still don’t know what the sauce tastes like. They were so good it never even crossed my mind to cover them with anything.. So, if anyone is new to the area (or not) and is unsure of where to order food from.. skip the big pizza chains you’ve been eating and try Passport Pizza in Roseville on 10 mile n Gratiot. You’ll be happy you did.“

“I love the new decor, the atmosphere is very warm, open and welcoming! The service has gotten so much better after we stopped coming to Leo's over two years ago when the service was ridiculously slow, the waitresses all stood around the cash register talking about their boyfriends and school and football games and so on while the customers sat waiting for service and even coffee refills. I wrote to the manager and got a nasty return about his family owns a major dining establishment besides Leo's and how his sister-in-law is the manager at Leo's and does and awesome job and so on and so on..... I am so happy a few weeks ago we stopped in, had remarkable service, 2nd to none in the area, the food was spot on perfect and the new decor is so refreshing! Our waitress yesterday was ADDIE A. she worked her tail off, made sure we had everything we needed and even stopped by a total of three times to apologize that we hadn't gotten our food yet and we could obviously see that you had gotten slammed after church, and we were there at a busy time! I have over 11,000 followers on social media platforms and give compliments on our dining experiences on YELP, GOOGLE, FACEBOOK & TRIPADVISOR when compliments are deserved as well as complaints are. BRAVO! You have won my wife and I over and you are now our goto restaurant for family style meals! We have been there three times in three weeks and pretty much will be regulars! Keep up the great work and make sure the waitstaff knows how much they are all appreciated and how their presence and personality sets the initial and sometimes everlasting impression! I had to ask and did find out that you are the "New Owners" and it is obvious! God Bless and keep up the great work you have totally won us over!“
