“Was expecting this place to be good based on other reviews but I was blown away with how good it actually is.

Food wise it’s an instant top 10 of restaurants I’ve had in Michigan. I’m not really a ramen aficionado but this was by far the best broth and quality of add ins that I’ve ever had in ramen. Of course we added the chicken Katsu and my wife got the Katsu burger both of which were amazing.

As far as fried chicken goes this is top 5 I’ve had and probably the most crispy which my wife loved. I also added some hot sauce on the side which they make in house and wow it was epically hot. Among the spiciest things I’ve ever eaten and spicy food is something I do have a very high tolerance for. Very good flavor as well but proceed with caution if spice isn’t your thing.

After such great entrees we added a piece of the deep fried cheesecake which is essentially cheesecake Katsu and was also amazing. A wild dessert if you ask me but it really worked well with the crispy breading and the cool cheesecake inside.

Overall no doubt we will return here soon. The interior is laid back and the service was very friendly from the staff. We were there late before closing and everything was hot and fresh and just great. Prices are very reasonable for this type of food. Don’t sleep on this spot - its location is unassuming but it’s a hidden gem in Michigan.“

“My partner and I went here for the first time tonight. There were more menu options than I originally thought which was nice! I got the chicken katsu curry and it was delicious. The chicken was moist but crunchy on the outside and the portion was a good size. My partner got the bibimbap which was also good. I also highly recommend the pork dumplings! Additionally, we were given complimentary Miso soup with our meals and the staff brought us a free sample of their Korean fried chicken to try. Overall we were very happy with our meal and prices were reasonable! Will definitely be coming back!“

“Been here a handful of times and it's safe to say Ichiban GO has been consistent every time! Food is always fresh and delicious. We are all big hibachi fans in our household. That being said, you can imagine the price tag that comes with a big family at a hibachi restaurant. Ichiban GO has been a more budget friendly spot and we are so happy to have them around. On top of their awesome food, the staff is ALWAYS so friendly and super efficient. We will definitely be coming back regularly 😁“

I been going to goblin sushi on and off since they have opened. They have always been clean and delicious. Price is slightly higher than I would like to pay but the service and cleanliness make it up for it. The selection they offer is perfect for their size. They do offer vegetarian style and regular sushi. I have not had any bad experience over the years. They do offer other things than sushi, mainly Korean ramen. Price is higher for the convenience if you want to try something before you buy a whole pack/box from H mart. The best bang for your buck would be ordering Goblin Penguin 40pc or Goblin Panda 48pc. If you’re in the area and craving good sushi, I highly recommend this place either for dine in or to go. If you want a show, definitely eat at the sushi bar, so you can see them make it.“

You can tell the ingredients were fresh, especially with the salmon. The GM Roll had a nice crispy texture with a sauce that brought everything together really well. “I am absolutely outraged with the behavior of the owner today at SOHO. My family and I went to this restaurant after Saturday little league games. We had 5 adults, 5 children and 2 babies. We have been to this restaurant countless times as a family. Today, after sitting and looking an menus, ordering drinks, we were met by the manager that came to our table and said “I’m sorry our limit is 8 people”. Confused, we asked for clarity because again, we have been to this restaurant countless times with the SAME group and number of people. In fact, we have NEVER been to this restaurant with less people. I asked, “wait are you saying we can’t eat here today because of the number of people?“ THAT is how confused I seriously was. The manager then responded, “Yes, I’m so sorry”. I pointed out to him that we had been sitting, getting ready to order for quite some time. Moments before this, the waiter came to take our orders but had to leave to grab us extra napkins. He said that his waiter called him all the way from his home because he couldn’t “do it” - referring to asking us to leave. There were quite a few other staff members there. So if this was a rule, why didn’t any of them point it out to the “new person” or let us know right away Of their “party limit”.? Please know we went on a Saturday around 330pm and there was two other parties in the entire restaurant - totaling only 5 other people. To me, if I had a party that was a few people over my “limit” I would not kick them out one, but definitely not when my restaurant is close to empty and the party has already been sat. Because of my “new team members” error- as a manager, I would have continued to serve this party. I need to point out that NONE of us in our entire lives have ever been asked to leave ANYWHERE. We are a Christian family of Pastors and ministers. I say this to speak to our character. There was no behavior on our end, that warranted this. I also pointed out that the table we were sitting at was DESIGNED for more than 10 people. We didn’t come into the restaurant moving tables and chairs together, the table was already set up for 12 people to sit there. I asked the manager why we were sat and waited on For all this time to then be kicked out? He claimed that the person who was our waiter was new and didn’t know their 8 people limit rule. I pointed out the fact that the table we were sitting at was set up for 12 And asked why that is if they had a limit of 8? He then said with our number of kids - it is not safe for them in the restaurant because their establishment serves alcohol. So first it was because our party was more than 8 and then it turned into being an issue with the number of kids? There is absolutely no reason for this behavior. To me, the only thing that makes any sense is it being racially discriminatory. I strongly urge you to no longer go to this restaurant. Of course, we left with no issue because if we are not welcome or wanted because of race or any other invalid reason- we don’t want to eat at the restaurant anyways. But point of my review is to prevent this from happening to anyone else. we used to love this place and our entire family would come. never again, even with 2 people will I step foot in this establishment and I will strongly encourage everyone I know and everyone that’s reading this to do the same.“

“I’ve never had a bad experience here at Yoshii. I always get the $10 meal deal because it makes smart economical sense. It’s a different protein each day so you truly get to switch it up but getting that delicious rice and spring roll. You truly don’t need the sauce because the seasoning is so on point.
Let me also say, the containers are perfect for work lunch time storage. 😁
And one added bonus is, that stunning young lady that works there from time to time.

“The food here was very good, and the waitresses were incredibly fast—honestly, they were moving so quickly you almost missed them. However, the experience was a bit mixed. I think we may have had a new cook because he didn't put on much of a show, especially compared to the energy we saw from the other chefs. Others were flipping and spinning things. Not ours tho. We also felt pretty rushed at the end; the staff actually started putting fresh plates and silverware on the table for the next guests before we were even finished eating.“

Yet after the most recent visit, I would say that I was surprised that the service has greatly improved and that the interior has functioning bathrooms again.
