“Carnales catered our daughter's quinceañera. The food was amazing!!! The service was outstanding. They delivered and set up promptly and took it down as well. We had so much left over. I'll be eating Mexican for days. The entire party raved about how wonderful the food was. I've eaten there before. The quesa birria is outstanding. 10/10 recommend. 5 stars.“

“I'm on a mission to shout out about this restaurant. The prices are a little high in my opinion, but... (1) the food is worth it, and (2) I am spoiled by the prices in Detroit's Mexicantown, where there is a lot more competition for Mexican food. Mi novio, quien es de Jalisco, México, le gusta mucho la comida de El Tajín. So if Oscar says it's good food, I KNOW it's good, authentic Mexican food. The elote is TO. DIE. FOR In my humble opinion. If you want really great Mexican food in the Toledo area, I cannot recommend this place enough. Try street taco Thursdays ($2 street tacos) if you're skeptical, because at $2 a taco you can't lose. I think once you've experienced El Tajín's food you will become a believer.“

“I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. My wife and I have been to every Mexican cuisine restaurant around the MI/OH border in the Toledo vicinity. We have never had a bad meal. Always great, and as an added plus their margaritas are Best in Toledo. The staff is fantastic, and the food comes out hot and quick. We stopped in once again last night. It doesn't get better than this!“
“Stopped here before a NYE party to pick up corn tortillas. I have celiac disease so needed to be sure what I was getting was gluten free. The woman behind the counter was really helpful. The corn tortillas and corn chips were excellent. I didn't have any reaction so oth were definitely gluten free. I also picked up some pico de gallo and salsa verde. Those were delicious as well! Highly recommend.“

“We ate dinner there last night, service and everything was great as usual until I got home with our Burris burrito and I found out they it was 90% rice and had trouble finding any shredded beef , really disappointed with the lack of meat. I hope in the future when you get a to go order that doesn’t happen. My son had the same Burrito there and it had a lot of meat in it, so I don’t know why the to go order was a complete opposite?“

“My first time here... Muy Bueno 🤌 The owner Flo (Florencio) came out to greet me. I told him about my friends back home. He brought me out a pork tamale to try. He sells them a dozen for $15. You have to come get them as soon as they post... cuz they go Quick! (And I see Why! 😍) Melanie was my waitress. She's very attentive, helpful & sweet. 🤗 Chips & Salsa 🥰🤌 I ordered the lunch special for $10 and of course the mango juice. You get 2 enchiladas, with beans & rice. He brought me an extra enchilada to try with the chunky beef (his Moms recipe). All of it was So delicious! If you Love authentic Mexican food like I do, you need to come here!!“

“Yummy carne asada torta. Meat had good flavor. Always appreciate when restaurants grill the torta bread. Also, I’m picky about my toppings, they got my order correct and was quick service. Cute little place. I at first showed up at one of the chain San Marcos and thought about just going in but I’m glad I made the effort to go here.“

“I’ve been coming here every week while working in Ohio, and this truck became my favorite spot. The tacos are incredible, and the ladies working here are always kind, welcoming, and make you feel at home. I’m heading back to Texas and this place will be missed!“

“Very impressed. I've been to the mall so many times and never even gave it a thought to eat there, but we were out and about on a random Tuesday and decided the food court just wasn't going to cut it... We gave it a go. I'm glad we did. It was very good, authentic and fresh.“

“Lunch plans changed due to everything we tried being closed and a local told us about this place and WOW! I’m so glad the others closes! What a way to start 2024 and my last day here before heading home to TX! The food and margaritas were awesome! “We were looking for a place to eat, and happened to drive past Palacio Maya Mexican Restaurant. We decided to try it, and we were not disappointed. The selection of food items for vegetarians was amazing with plenty of items to choose from. The staff were quick, efficient and friendly. We would definitely eat here again.
Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian items to choose from in a separate section of the menu. The beans do not have lard in them, which is also a plus.“

“We have been here twice now and everything has been delicious. The chips are a favorite of all the places we have tried. You get a large bottle of salsa also. Taco salad, wet burritos and enchiladas are very good. Gladly drive the 30 mins for the food and chips :)“

“It was some of the best Mexican food we have had in the bit. Everything was delicious 😋 all the way to the chips and salsa. We walked in and sat right down we order and the food came out in no time so so good. We will be going back to try other things. All the staff was friendly and just a nice atmosphere. The prices are reasonable and the food was excellent.“

“Overall the food was amazing great flavor but service was lacking to put it nicely. We waited almost 15 minutes after ordering but was definitely worth the wait, tasted amazing. Unfortunately the wait/ service wasn’t great, we had to wave the waitress down after waiting for 15 mins to order than waiting another 20-ish minutes after asking to get our checks. Ended up here for roughly an hour and half and we’re the only table seated(4people), saw one person come in for a carry out order during this time. Ordering on time might definitely be the way to go. They never came back to refill our drinks and charged us for an avocado when we asked for the avocado on the side instead of inside our food. Outside of that very clean bathrooms were one of the cleanest we’ve been out so service is the only complaint we had.“

Six of us visited for lunch and we ordered from lunch menu. Everything taste so fresh and come with some side. Super reasonable price $8 is a steal for that much of food. Clean environment, tidy restaurant, colorful seating and nice bar indeed. If I’m in this area then definitely returning .
Only issue I found no soup in the restroom and no towel in the holder.“

“The only unfortunate thing about my experience at this Taco Bell was that I did not get the names of the kind ladies that helped us. We had a mobile order that had customizations they could not accommodate so they asked what I would like instead. They were also just a fun crew. Bathrooms and restaurant was clean. Even had a clear window you could watch them make the food. Would come back again :)“

“The drive through is out of order but I was not told that before ordering online and paying, pretty inconvenient. I would have chosen a different location so I didn't have to take the babies out of the car just to grab my food. I paid for double portions and the bowl was only half full 😂“

“Food is good staff was friendly. In the winter there soups are great. Chicken wings are fried crispy they were good. Green salsa is great spicy. Nachos are mad as individual nachos love that the supers are very good. I had a chunky beef enchilada it was very good.“
