“OMG… SOOOOO GOOD! We called ahead to see how busy it was and Stephanie was delightful on the phone. When we came in Stephanie’s warmth, charm and friendliness met us at the door! She chatted with us about the restaurant and how it’s a product of her and her husband’s love for food. Everything is sourced from specific farmers so they know where all their ingredients are coming from! 💗 Our sever Vynessa 😊 was AMAZING, took great care of us, gave recommendations, chatted with us and poured love into her service! The food…. Holy smokes, it was so effing good! We had risotto, the flavors and textures just complemented each other perfectly, the best risotto I’ve ever had. The quiche was just as good and had great ingredients of rapini, sweet potato, broccoli, carmalized onions and more! We also had roasted potatoes and bacon sausage. We grabbed a scone and cinnamon roll to go, haven’t tried them at the time of posting this review. Please go here, support small, support local and have some of the best food of your life! “Very comfortable atmosphere, greeted instantly, had help with the menu / ingredients in the food / coffee I was interested in. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING food and coffee. I had the grilled turkey on jalapeño cheddar sour dough with a sugar free cold brew. Honestly the best food I’ve had locally in a while. 1,000% recommend trying at least once but I’ll be back since the menu is HUGE.“

“In a word WONDERFUL. We came upon Brengman on a whim and a sign as we were heading to Mission wineries and stayed. After a less than stellar wine experience at a winery that shall not be named, we fell upon Brengman. We spent some time with Ben, who was engaging and knowledgeable. We tried an assortment of whites and reds and fell in love with the Chardonnay Cement and Right Bank red. We left with bottles of both and a new wine club membership…. Worth the stop….“

“My husband and I both enjoy Indian food. This is hands down the BEST Indian food we’ve ever had! I had Daal Tadka and my husband had Daal Madkani. We also shared garlic naan. The ambience is modern with of course an Indian vibe. The aromas walking in were very enticing yet not over powering. They have a large variety of food. Plenty of vegetarian options which I was pleased with. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was timely yet not constantly interrupting. The chef brings the food to your table which was a lovely touch. I’m addition to the food being delicious, it’s very generous portions. We both had plenty left over to take home. Highly recommend this gem when you’re in Traverse City. We will likely visit it again before we head home next week!“

“Earthen Ales is a pleasant place to enjoy a beer. I stopped by to try a flight of beers and really enjoyed their darker ales. It feels pretty casual and welcoming, and I like how it’s kind of hidden away back there. I’ll have to look out for their beers in my neck of the woods.“

“We love chilling at Silver Spruce when we come back to our hometown, so we had to use them to cater beer for our wedding day! We were able to do a few kegs of different kinds & it was an absolute hit! Super easy because of self pouring option with the jockey box and delicious! Highly recommend Silver Spruce Brewing for your wedding day brews!“

“GREAT gin and tonic. I have to visit every time I am in the OMB area. This last time the new (to me) bartender was great - super friendly, good sense of humor, very helpful. He made sitting at the bar a fun experience! I hope he is there the next time we visit.“

“We had a fantastic time at this spot – the service, food, and drinks were all top-notch! We really enjoyed our cider and wine flight during our visit to the old state hospital. For food, we tried some delicious small plates, including the Whitefish Pate and the Charcuterie Board. It was hard to pick a favorite cider, but Cinnamon Girl and Tepache were both incredible and truly tasted like autumn. We even left with a growler of each!“

“This was one of our favorite sushi places we've ever been to. The sushi was really good! The staff was helpful when we had questions and we needed help identifying pictures with the menu. We had the spicy edamame and seaweed salad for an appetizer, and they were both delicious! The drinks were flavorful and we were satisfied with our whole experience! Everyone was nice and kind!“

“My Mom had the chili & black bean burger. She loved both! I had the French dip and I was great- the chips seemed homemade. A very quaint space too, but small so while we only waited about ten minutes, I would recommend reservations. Though there is plenty of shopping to keep you busy should you need to wait longer.“

“They have great beer there and a number of pinball machines. The owners are good people who have been in the brewery business for close to 30 years. My favorite 3 beers there are Gin Joy, CEO stout and cake walk. They have some good IPAs which I have been known to drink occasionally“

“Didn't eat, just had a hot Macha. Warmly received and quickly taken care of. Pretty good volume of people present for a mid Wednesday morning. Personally I'd prefer more smaller tables than the large community tables inside, but that's just me. Love the outdoor space but it was too cold to use this visit. Very cool building and love the parking lot not being dirt or paved but a gravel infilled grid. Looking forward to going back to try more things.“

“Everything about my experience with them for my wedding was perfect! Booking was easy and Sharon really worked with us since we lived out of state. Being from Texas, my guests and I had very high expectations for our bbq and they absolutely delivered. I’m still hearing about how it was the best brisket they’ve ever had. “Our love story started here on Old Mission Peninsula in 2020. Little did I know that 5 years later, I would also marry my husband here. Bonobo holds a very special place in our hearts and is one of our favorite vineyards that we visit each time we come to Northern Michigan. We are also wine club members here because their wine is our favorite!

We made sure to stop here on my bachelorette party in June. All my bridesmaids understood my love for Bonobo!

It only made sense that 2 days before our wedding in August we would host a private family dinner here too in The Library Room. The food and service was incredible - the attention to detail throughout planning the decor, the menu, and the wine selections! Couldn’t have asked for a better night.

Then the night before the wedding, my husband and I decided to make one last stop at Bonobo after our rehearsal dinner which was further down the peninsula - our last drink before becoming husband and wife. Our photographer of course came along and got some of my favorite pictures of the whole weekend here!

Then on Saturday, our ceremony was at St Joseph Catholic Church (right next door from Bonobo). Many guests had a glass of wine after the ceremony at Bonobo and enjoyed the views of the vineyards and the bay before our cocktail hour + reception at Delamar.

“You can’t go wrong with Bardon’s. Fantastic ice cream, a local favorite AND they use fresh, real fruit in the fruity treats, not the fake stuff! No wonder the line wraps around the corner, especially on baseball nights.“

“I loved everything about this restaurant except the price. That being said, you get what you pay for. 2 very tasty beers, and 2 huge plates of crispy fish & chips for my girlfriend and I with some whitefish dip as a starter set us back about $100. The drive there is part of the experience so dont forget to look around and imagine the life you'll never have owning or working at any of the hundred vinyards. The service was stellar, for our large group + 1 baby we felt well looked after. The beer was delicious, but if I knew it was $10 for 1 glass and roughly $25 for a growler, id have brought my own cup. If I'm back in Traverse City, Ill definitely go back for the fish and chips and a growler of beer.“

“My son and I love M+P! Our go to is the Nutella and strawberry crepe. The street style way it comes; in a handheld customizable tear away cardboard pocket, makes for the cleanest crepe experience.

We are M+P frequent fliers, giving us the opportunity and pleasure of being served by different staff members. I've never had a bad experience. The kindness, gratitude, and peaceful atmosphere makes it easy to get cozy in their diverse seating options.
