“I love this place but make sure your employees are properly trained on how to make a blizzard. Went there last night and my 2 blizzards were not mixed properly. one with mint was mostly a vanilla ice cream with very little mint mixed in the second was a cookie jar and I didn't get to the fudge until I reached the bottle of the cup and the cookie dough and Oreos were only at the top. I will still be back and happy your remodel is now complete.“

“Went to the J&w ice cream and grill fries and drinks straight nostalgia. Got a mega meal with a double cheese burger, fries, a drink, and a sundae with one topping. When I say I felt like I was back in time at my childhood ice cream parlor 20/10 on atmosphere and the food is a 30/10 on quality to price everything was made fresh in front of you. That's not even to mention the patience and care the staff put into treating each customer individually and making sure you have a firm understanding of the menu before placing your order. I truly can't wait to return.“

“Perfect, peaceful cafe. Had both the espresso and cappuccino during different visits. They were brewed at the right temp, which allowed for immediate sipping without burning my mouth. The Gelato was great and and was very smooth. The spoons were cute too. Kids and I have returned 2xs after discovery of this place and enjoy the simple, elegant and peaceful vibes the environment provides to end a long day or week. Staff is also extremely friendly.“

“Welcoming and friendly staff! It’s a cute little spot for frozen yogurt. They’ve got the classic flavors like cookies & cream, chocolate, vanilla, cake batter, and strawberry, plus a few fun extras. There’s a good variety of toppings, and they all tasted fresh.

You don’t get to add your own toppings, which is a bit of a bummer since that’s part of the fun of self-serve froyo—but the girl who helped us was super nice.

It came out to $17 for two cups, which is about what I’d expect. Just a heads up: there’s a $5 minimum if you’re using a card.

That seems like every time I come here there’s something new added to the menu, which is amazing. They offer agave nectar instead of sweetener, different types of protein, & all sorts of juices. The store itself is always extremely clean & the staff is always polite. They have a cute little area you can sit and eat in, great music, & a small area for kids to sit & color. “I’m honestly surprised this Dairy Queen on Rochester Road doesn’t have more love on Yelp, especially since it has tons of positive reviews on Google Maps. I also really don’t get the negative reviews. It’s Dairy Queen — you come here for ice cream, and that’s exactly what you get.
I’ve been coming to this location for years and have never really had an issue. The customer service has always been friendly and consistent, and the ice cream is always exactly what you expect it to be: fresh, cold, and delicious. Whether it’s a Blizzard, cone, or something simple, it never disappoints.
At the end of the day, it’s an ice cream spot doing what it’s supposed to do, and doing it well. I’ll keep coming back like I always have. If you’re craving ice cream and want a reliable Dairy Queen experience, this location gets the job done every time.
