“Finally had time to try Moody Brews today and it was more than worth the 30 min drive from my house! I got the Hot Honey Pizza Bagel on an Asiago bagel and I seriously think I found a new favorite snack 10/10. As a mom to a 2 year old and a 10 month old I need my fair share of caffeine to get through the day and I definitely got it with my Tiramisu Iced Latte! The young girl taking orders at the counter was so sweet and kind I didn’t catch her name but she was doing a great job. They were pretty busy when I was in there but she was holding it down. “I've been to this place twice with my son. Once when he was 2 and a half and, recently, at 3 and a half years old. I will say he enjoyed it more at 3.5yrs old because it's a big place scape. You get lost easily and some platforms are a bit too high for younger kids to get up. Pros: big play area for a lot of kids to play. Women and men bathrooms. Smaller play area for 3yrs and younger to play in, that is closed in. Nice sitting areas. Fun for birthdays. A lot of options for food and drinks and snacks. Pretty clean too.
Cons: music can be too loud. Only one changing table in bathroom stall. Bathroom is not kid friendly. Table seats can be too close together, or maybe too many chairs in dining area. Can't bring your own food or drinks in. There aren't many different options for kids to play. For example, it's just a play scape, no puzzles or gymnastics things to play on, or soft blocks to play with.“

“Tried for the first time today. I love that it's locally owned. Super small place which is nice when you don't want all the hectic and overwhelming choices of options. I got the medium iced caramelicious drink. I could definitely used another shot of caramel but it's tasty! The coffee is the perfect strength. I would definitely come back for another flavor. Called ahead to make sure they would be ok with filling an order for 3 dozen donuts and had the pleasure of speaking to the manager. He is a very nice guy and made sure I had everything I needed. “The atmosphere of Westland mall is a far cry of what it once was. What was previously Cinnamon, to the moved Coffee Beanery, and now Daily Grind, I will gladly announce that I have had nothing but pleasant experiences the past few times I have been here. The prices are below average, while quality is above. There is a few convenience store elements here as well, such as honey buns and hot pockets. The coffee selection and flavours are fairly broad, and there is beans for sale here too. If you're at Westland mall, I would definitely recommend that you grab a coffee here. It is seated in front of the PINK and Victoria's secret, within the nook that sits next to the internal entrances of the old Macy's.“

“This morning I came here for the first time. I ordered some drinks and right as I approached the window I realised I left my card home. The girl at the window handled the situation with great professionalism and respect. She said no problem it happens. I told her I will come back and she said no problem. She handed me the coffee instead of throwing it away. This was a very smart decision. Why throw the coffee out? When you can win a loyal customer for ever. I will be going back soon to pay my coffee debt. But I just want to say these mini human to human interactions like this create love and respect. Good job young lady!!!!“

“Very cute and homey mom and pop restaurant with exquisite food and service :) we ordered the Red Sniper, Tilapia, Lamb Michoui, Maffe peanut butter stew, the Dibi, and Fatayas to share. All of the food was cooked excellently and was absolutely delicious! The lamb was my favorite but both fish were tasty and unique in their own rights with an excellent char. The staff we interacted with were extremely helpful answering our questions and I’d recommend anyone who hasn’t tried Khadi’s yet to swing by and give it a go!“

I can’t say they never have a miss-step, we’re all human it happens; but in over 10+ years, I can’t recall a single time they haven’t offered to make it right. This location definitely stands out to other locations in SE Michigan.“

The coffee selection here is pretty good and when I visited my coffee was made perfectly - I'm not too picky and only asked for one thing "different" with my coffee, but still! The best part was the positive staff working here. They were slammed with business as most Starbucks always seem to be, with a drive-thru line that stretched around the building yet they just steadily worked and served and smiled and laughed - it was nice to see! The only reasons I can't give this location 5 stars is due to the cramped quarters inside and the horrible location - it's very difficult to get in and out since the lot only has access from Lotz Road. When the drive-thru starts to stack it makes it very dangerous to drive in...customers coming out of the drive-thru drive way too fast on their way out and I've almost seen a number of people hit in the lot.“

The muffin was nothing to write home about, just ok. Smoothie was also fine.“
