“Just tried out this place. We were in a large group that ordered several types of chai and different food items, and everything was wow! Hands down, best chai I've had in Michigan. I especially liked the Karak Chai and Amore Chai, but all of the different chai varieties at the table were amazing. My family is South Asian so I grew up as a bit of a chai snob, but this place thoroughly impressed me. Their homemade paratha wraps and sandwiches were super yummy. Seating was ample, both indoors and outdoors, and the whole restaurant had a vibrant and chic vibe. Place was very clean. This is a family owned restaurant and the thing I thought was especially stand-out was that several of the family-members were there even though we went really late on a Sunday. Owners stopped by several times to make sure our group was happy. If your only experience with chai is at Starbucks or Biggby, I really recommend taking in Cups N Chai's extremely welcoming environment with your family or friends while broadening your horizons with one of their wonderful pots of chai.“
“My friend brought me two slices of cheesecake as a birthday gift, and I can confidently say that they were the best pieces of cheesecake I have ever had. I haven’t found a bakery where the crust to cheesecake ratio was just right, and Coffee + Cream nailed it. My absolute favorite part of cheesecake is the edge with the crust, and I have to say that this was the most exquisite crust I have ever tasted. Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone who loves cheesecake as much as I do.“

“I am a coffee enthusiast, who is getting a bit more into snob territory, and I have Hyperion to blame. I found Hyperion years ago by chance, and said “This is the best coffee I’ve ever had. I never even knew coffee could taste THIS good!” Now I’ve gone and bought coffee from several places, beans and drinks too. As I write this, I actually have 6 bags of various different coffee beans from places, each unique vendors… except for the two I got from Hyperion. I’ve yet to find ANYONE who has beaten them. Some have come close, some may have them beat in other ways. But ultimately, Hyperion makes THE best coffee I have ever had. I have tried to find someone who can best them and have not found them. I cannot recommend Hyperion enough. They ignited a passion for me, and continue to provide the utmost excellence in coffee. Oh, and they finally sold the banana guava beans! I’m SO excited to see how they turn out at home!“

“Really cute and stylish cafe. The owner is very sweet and takes pride in what she does. I've had the coffee, the smoothies, and some of the food, and it's all amazing. The music is great, and there is usually locally sourced artwork on the walls that changes frequently. I would love to see this cafe graduate to a bigger storefront someday so that they could display more local art. I've been here a handful of times since they opened very recently, and I look forward to coming back many more times. The smoothies are truly unbeatable! “We had a great experience! Food and drinks were good, and it was nice to have a younger crowd of kids in the morning on the weekdays so my Littles don't get run over. The only thing I didn't like was the tip prompt in the beginning when paying just to get in. I understand when being asked at the food counter, but right when you come in, it is a little weird. Other than that, a great place to take your children the man working said after 3pm bigger kids start coming in, which is nice to know! I have no clue how weekends are.“

“This is a great place to stay and park your car if you are flying out of DTW. The rooms were spacious and clean. The entire staff (valet parking attendants, bell service and front desk) were very helpful. The only concern is that we stayed on December 25th and their on-site restaurant had run out of a number of entrees. However the staff was very flexible and found a good alternative. There is a TSA security checkpoint right next to the front desk.“

These days because of Covid and the lack of in store service, drive-thru is too long and makes the trip not worth it. This location however is located inside a Target and I seldom have to wait long to make an order. If you don't mind getting down I highly recommend it, it will save you time.“

After an hour of play time in the play area at Westland Mall, we stroll down here to have a snack and cool down. Besides coffee, The Daily Grind has a nice selection of snacks.
