The menu included Batata Hara Platter (potato), Hummus, Tahini Cauliflower Platter, Baked Chicken Breast, Kafta Kabob, Chicken Shawarma, and Meat Shawarma with rice and salad. Every single dish was fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. “I usually feel kind of awkward when sitting down at a restaurant right when they open but Tara was immediately so welcoming and polite. Her service was excellent and I could see that she was very kind to all the other customers as well. Food came out quick for having just opened and was great. The menu might appear slightly pricey but is actually a great value compared to other restaurants in the airport and the portions are generous. This is my go to place at DTW!“

“Went to Longhorns for my 50th birthday dinner last night. I had a very large party (27). We basically took over the restaurant. Bulk of people were seated together. We were just in the way, well me mostly. All of the staff were great. But I need to thank the waite staff for their amazing service that they provided. Secondly, I would like to give great appreciation to the hostesses(awesome) who sometimes catch it from the hangry's! Last the manager was amazing. You know Longhorns get busy on the weekend and inspite of that he did his best to accommodate us. So Westland Longhorns from the bottom of my heart I want to thank you for an amazing experience. I'm not even going to address the food you know it was phenomenal!“

We went in the next morning and they had just sold out again but little did I know, they actually made one specifically for me and set it aside. “Get The Scoop is the most underrated, little, delicious ice cream shop in Belleville! They have so many options of ice cream types, flavors, toppings, and other lunch food items to choose from. “Thai City has always been and still is our favorite! We lived in Westalnd for 29 years and moved up north. Anytime we go downstate, we order carryout! When our kids visit, they get carryout for us! I wish there was a Thai City near us. We're 2 1/2 hours north of Westland now.“

“I picked up breakfast here early on a Monday morning before my flight. Hamza provided excellent service - he accepted and quickly prepared my order 15min before the advertised opening time for breakfast on weekdays because he had already prepared for opening and saw that I've been waiting for a while. He chatted with me while I waited and was very friendly. And the food was much better than the nearby Chick-fil-A which was the only other thing open near my gate. Definitely recommend!“
