“Applebee’s is the kind of place that knows its lane and stays in it—casual dining with familiar favorites. It’s not trying to reinvent the wheel, but sometimes, that’s exactly what you want.

The burger was a standout—cooked just right, stacked with toppings, and packed with flavor. And the mozzarella sticks? Perfectly crispy on the outside with that satisfying cheese pull inside. Definitely a solid appetizer choice.

What really made the experience, though, was Kyle. Easily one of the best servers I’ve had in a while. Quick with refills, checked in without hovering, and made sure everything came out hot and fresh. You can tell he actually cares about the customer experience.

“We have been enjoying Culver’s in Standale/Walker since they opened, but, it is our experience that the quality of the food is gradually going down a bit. We usually get the fish sandwiches and also have enjoyed the onion rings, but, our last order was not good. Last Thursday, we ordered two two-piece fish dinners and substituted onion rings for the fries. This was a take-out order. When we got home and began to eat the food, we found the meal to be at a considerably low standard of quality. It tasted as though the oil used to fry both the fish and the rings was “old oil” and needed to be changed. It was quite disappointing for having paid $27 for the two meals expecting a decent fish dinner. We DID, however enjoy the coleslaw.“

“I tried the grilled chicken wrap for the first time. I honestly don't know how long they've had these on their menu but I liked it and would eat it again. I went through the drive thru so atmosphere doesn't really apply here. But the drive thru staff was friendly and service was pretty fast.“

“Serenity and Taniya at the drive thru were super nice 🥰 I got the filet o fish meal. My medium fries without salt were extra full, my "made fresh to order" fish filet was SO flaky and good and the bun was super fresh, and the fountain Coke is always the best at mickeydees!!! I know a lot of these reviews are bad. But it was a great experience. I went at 8 pm on a Thursday night.“

“Vintage in the Zoo is an institution, definitely a jewel in our fair city. They have all the usual assorted vintage items to peruse, killer DJs, a record vendor cuz duh. Whether you’re in the market for a gently used Harley t shirt, a crochet vest, or art inspired by mushrooms this is the spot! Also the DJs are nice with it too!“
