“So, a lot of people may know, or make the connection that I'm Sarah's Dad. Despite that obvious bias being established, I'm going to speak facts about Beani's Coffee Lounge. My daughter Sarah had a vision when she was very young of owning and operating her own coffee shop. After acquiring, and sharpening her skills as a manager of nearly every coffee shop in a 20 mile radius of Boyne City - she took bits of money she earned, and started to take steps toward that dream. A long, twisty, complicated journey ensued. Today, with the love and support of our tremendous and vastly talented family - her dream has become a beautiful reality. Let me be clear however - Sarah (herself) has worked so hard that her mom and I spend a lot of our time worrying about her well being. Most people would never be able to see through her warm smile, and kind servitude that she doesn't eat, sleep, or live life in general half as often as the average person. When she does however, it's fully dedicated to her fiancè, and 3 little boys. She still finds a way to not only connect with extended family, but makes sure to treat each and every person as equally important to her as we truly are. The coffee shop Sarah owns now speaks for itself. Within the first 10 seconds of entering the door - a person who never knew Sarah in their lifetime will see her heart, and her energy sewn into every inch of the space. The food and drinks speak the same language of her attention to detail, creativity, and unwavering dedication to make sure every customer goes home with their expectations well exceeded. I am so incredibly proud of Sarah. It's important to mention that my future son-in-law Anthony, (her fiancè) has been a rock of support for her to stand on as she has built Beani's from thoughts, into goods and services. It is also very important to mention my oldest daughter Kaley - who's creativity (wall murals, menus / ideas) and shared spirit of entrepreneurship has been yet another large chunk of the bedrock that Beani's stands on. Lastly, it is very important to mention the support of so many in our family and friends in our little town that have made sure to get behind my daughters - and celebrate along with Sarah as her dream branches out, and begins to show the fruits of her unbelievable labor. In conclusion I realize my review of this coffee shop may not have included very many specifics about the magnificent selection, and quality of its food and drink(s). The reason why is because everything is good. The atmosphere, the products, the service, and the guarantee of satisfaction (which is priceless). My review contains far more details as you may notice of the people who make this place what it is, namely Sarah - that ARE Beani's Coffee Lounge. If you haven't visited Beani's, I highly recommend that you do!“

“After running in to the owners at a small hotel at drumond island, while we were on vacation from maine, they introduced me to their coffee. I offered to buy some and they insisted I take the bag for free. after this encounter I HAD to visit their coffee shop. Everything we ordered tasted amazing and was so fresh! I also bought another bag of coffee to bring home with me. wonderful coffee, wonderful staff. and amazing atmosphere in the shop!“

“This is our first time in the area, camping at Young State Park. It seemed just a bit chilly for cooking so we headed specifically for Sunnyside (found on the Internet). Really friendly servers and excellent food. We had missed the morel festival the previous weekend but snagged the last serving of Morel Hashbrowns. This dish had perfectly sautéed zucchini & yellow peppers, still slightly crunchy & not over cooked. Great ambience. They are now serving dinner with a full bar. We would try it but we’re supposed to be camping and have a cooler full of food! ?“
