Yesterday we had another great meal from this Burger King at 9 Mile and Van Dyke. The food was fresh, and tasted delicious, and the burgers looked like they would in an ad. It is usually a little busy yet the staff is always friendly and nice. We pass a lot of places on our ride from 30 Mile road to the Detroit Riverfront but we hold out until we get to this BK Lounge as we called them back in the day.
Burger King, a restaurant known for its fresh food and generally good service, has received mixed reviews. One customer, who had never visited this location before, had a less than satisfactory experience. Despite initially having patience for the drive-thru speaker's poor sound quality and the time it took for their order, they were disappointed when the employee only handed them one of the two drinks they had ordered. The employee's attitude became unfriendly when the customer questioned the missing drink, and they had to ask for the second drink. Additionally, the customer observed another employee, who had braided brown/blonde hair and turquoise/blue finger nails, rubbing her nose and continuing to converse with other employees without washing her hands.
On a positive note, another customer was happy that Burger King locations were opening up in Michigan and praised the fresh food and great service. A third customer had a positive experience ordering from Uber Eats. There was a mix-up with the orders, but a kind and helpful gentleman assisted them in finding the correct location and kept his word by calling them back when the order was placed. The customer was impressed with his politeness and friendly demeanor.
In summary, while there have been some negative experiences at this Burger King location, the restaurant generally offers fresh food and good service. It is recommended to watch this specific location and be aware of the cleanliness of the employees. However, the positive experiences of other customers show that the restaurant generally strives for good service.
