“We tried axe throwing on vacation several years ago. We saw The Hub while on I-75 and decided to stop by and do it again. Surprisingly, we were able to get a time slot pretty quickly. The coach, Josh, was absolutely fantastic and helpful. We had a blast. The food was great. We’ll definitely be back. Prices were reasonable and the building is spacious. Even being somewhat busy on a Saturday, it didn’t feel crowded.“

“I only had a sandwich and some mozzarella sticks but those were good and other people seemed happy with their meals - but mostly here to say the atmosphere / service at this place is unmatched. Amy & Heather who I got the opportunity to have as bartenders and servers both times I came (and they’re sisters! How fun) both went beyond the call of normal service. This place was the closest nearby spot to an emergency vet I took my dog to after an attack. I was obviously a bit solemn when I came in the first time for lunch and immediately they asked me if I was okay and both came around the bar to hug me when tears started welling and listened to my story and showed so much care and compassion for my poor doggy. When I came back a week later they recognized me IMMEDIATELY and asked how my boy was doing and were overjoyed when I said he’s healing well and getting stitched up today. I also wanted to come back to get their names just so I could be sure to mention them by name in a review because they certainly deserve it. Outside of that, clearly they (and the rest of the staff here) have compassion and familiarity with mostly everyone who walked in the door. They impressively remembered names, usual orders, and asked specific questions about peoples’ lives (and I was sitting at the bar for a long time while I waited for my dog both times and got to witness LOTS of interactions) - all were overwhelmingly positive. I love love LOVE this place. I live in Detroit and rarely come to the suburbs unless I need to - but I might have to start making Mr. Joe’s a regular stop ❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“This place is so cool! The food was very good and I can’t wait to go back for it. They also have a surprisingly delicious margarita. My fiends and I got a margarita tower which was so much fun! They also have DRAFT old fashions!!!! Crazy. But also very good. This place is perfect for friends, night out with coworkers, and has a unique but perfect layout for game days. “Matt has done a good job at cleaning the place up, especially the restrooms. Open Mic night is a great way to see live performances and many different styles. I also like Friday Karaoke- the bar was 80% full and people were having a great time with their friends. If I was to have any complaint it would be parking, needs better lighting , repaving and expanding if at all possible. If that happened they would have to have add another floor“

“We brought a group of about 16 people for a birthday party tonight because our original place couldnt accommodate us at the last minute. Brian greeted us and got us tables right away. He checked on us numerous times prividing phenomenal service. Everyone in our group was impressed with how we were treated especially with walking in with a large group. We will definitely frequent On The Dunes more often.“
