“We were a group of eight who went in on the Saturday before Christmas at 5:00. We were visiting from Indy and wanted some good pizza. This place did not disappoint! The buffet was constantly stocked and the salad bar had a good variety. Our little kids enjoyed the breadsticks and dessert pizza. Most importantly, we realized on Sunday (after returning to Indy) that we had left our diaper bag at the restaurant. Obviously, we were not going to make the trip back. The owner kindly offered to ship it to us and despite me asking to pay for it, she declined. We were truly so appreciative of this kind gesture. Anytime we are back in shipshewana, we will return for the great food and good service. Thank you for your kindness during the holidays.“

Living in a small town and not having much choices of food places to eat instead of driving and going the distance we ALWAYS choose town fryer over any other fast food or sit down restaurant in a 20-30 mile radius. The employees are absolutely amazing and so respectful and just so full of light. We are greeted every time we walk in the door. Our food is always fresh and warm. They have never made a mistake on our food or ice cream orders. This is by far the best place in the 20 mile radius!! Absolutely love their food and ice cream and prices are great!
