“First--my wife and I were guests for dinner so I didn't see the bill.My first shout-out is for the Margarita I got at the bar. It was the best Margarita I've had in a long time--and if it weren't a Thursday night or if I could have gotten a ride home--I'd have had more.For a steak house, I will confess disappointment with the 16oz Prime NY strip. The inside was precisely medium-rare (warm pink), but it seemed dryer than a NY strip should be. Perhaps the bark hints at that. Next time (if I go) will have to try the rib eye.Impressively, the best meal of the evening was my wife's Miso-Glazed Chilean Sea Bass. Sea bass is a great fish to dress up with sauces and seasoning and Fleming's did an amazing job. If you're at the restaurant and aren't sure if the steaks are calling your name, order the sea bass instead.I'm discovering I'm a fan of butter cake, and Fleming's Chocolate Gooey Butter Cake was a great way to end the meal. “Me and my husband went there for dinner on my birthday on 3/28. Food was delicious for starters we had the calamari and for entree I had the lamb chops and my husband had the ribeye steak, for dessert I had the tiramisu. The wine list was great. Service was impeccable??. The young lady who served us was very friendly and kind( sorry I forgot your name). The owner, the manager and the chef gave me a birthday card, I thought that was very thoughtful and special and I appreciated it. The place is beautiful with a calm atmosphere, great for a date night or brunch with friends. After dinner we went upstairs to check out the bar and it was actually nice upstairs with a view. Anyway I appreciate your top notch service and we’ll definitely be back.“
“I really love shopping through their rotating selections. They carry some classic wines in addition to some really interesting, obscure varieties and regions. I really appreciate their Michigan Wine selection as well as the sparkling and Champagne selection. Really good prices and variety.“
“We come her at least once-twice a month! Never had a bad experience here. Tonight was a little bit more special though because while we were having dinner, unfortunately our toddler had gotten sick and threw up on the floor, the manger (I can’t remember her name but it was a woman with shorter hair with glasses) helped me and my husband so much during this situation, reassured that everything was ok and then proceeded to help me clean everything up while my husband took our toddler to the bathroom. Just a very wholesome moment, there are still good people out there who understands it’s tough having a kid! Thank you so much!!“
“An amazing experience. The General Manager, John, selected an amazing wine based on our description. A new wine for us that we loved. Our waitress, Katie, was really sweet and personable. In addition to great service, all profits from this restaurant are donated to the Pulte Foundation. A great overall experience.“
“This place is the best Szechuan around! The quality of the food is excellent! For a small family owned place, you will love it! The food is very authentic and when you order spicy, you get it! Others comment on the rude service, that isn’t the case when you look at the culture. English is not the first language, and keep in mind many customs and traditions are different. They do not make small talk, but are very efficient and fast! The chicken is lean and sliced thin and no fat or gristle. I travel a lot and anytime I am nearby, I go out of my way to come here. Top notch!“
“We had a great dinner here in a comfortable booth. The wait staff was attentive and went out of her way to make our dining experience very nice. We had the bacon jam burger, shrimp cocktail and wonderful autum salad that is one of the best salads I've had a restaurant! The specialty cocktail was a little too sweet, but very beautiful! We didn't expect to have bread brought to the table so that was a nice surprise included with our meals. It was a warm pumpkin bread with whipped butter- SO good!!“
“I am finally settled in after moving to Wixom from another Co. So obviously i have to find where to get a good pizza.. Well i asked a neighbor and they recommended Alex's . so i called and ordered a large Bosciola pizza ( specialty pizza) and a small pepperoni. The guy answered the phone, (Pete) i think his was , was polite, patient and informative. So i arrive, the place was busy and why not its Saturday night . looks like they have a nice Bar and dinning area, but was not open for some reason. Anyway, so i get home and try these pizzas with my wife and her friend.. By far i can honestly say both pizzas were the best i have had in a long time.. Trust me i know pizza being a New York native and all. As for my wife and her friend . nothing but smiles from ear to ear. Looking forward to next weeks visit. Thanks. Staff of Alex's“
