“Lucky Garden has been a staple in Ypsilanti. Sometimes over looked because it’s north of EMU campus. The best Chinese food in Ypsilanti and with the new ownership it’s somehow gotten even better. Some of my favorites are Hunan Chicken, Beef Lo Mein, Crab Rangoons, and the Won Ton Soup is great.“

“My sick partner and i ordered out of convenience but were very surprised! the employees were kind enough to seperate the broth from the noodles so nothing got soggy. huge portions and great prices. could use some more seasoning sometimes but that is my only complaint.“

“Chicken chop suey looks great they didn’t overcook the veggies the box is full, unlike another place off carpenter Road and Packard, I’m not gonna name the name but when you pick up the box and tip it on its side it’s only half full. Its name starts with a K… ordered a fried rice combo mix veggies plate that’s an extra two dollars for the pork mixed in to the rice. It used to be free, but that was like 20+ years ago. Perfect fried rice not too greasy!“

“So I'm just going on the food here. I don't care if the person handing me my food is having a good day. Neither the condition of the tables or if the restrooms have disposable toilet seat covers concern me. Our food was excellent, portions very fair for the price, and ready 20 minutes, ordered online. Garlic beef, almond,
and general chicken on point. The 2 picky eaters with me gave praise also.“

“I have eaten at China Palace many times. One time a tour bus from Montreal going to Chicago was there and it's not that clear to I94! They heard it was special and should stop and I second that emotion. The food is authentic Chinese and the service is always great. One of the most genuine authentic Chinese food in the area.“

“Honestly one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. Perfect chicken, amazingly fresh sushi. Can't argue with a restaurant that's been around as long as they have. General tsos chicken slapped hard and the Singapore chicken is honestly my staple dish when I get food “

“Easily the best food we've had in the greater Ann Arbor area so far and on par with some of the best Chinese food I've eaten in the Midwest.

The restaurant is large enough for families and big groups with some booths and tables for smaller parties. There was even one table with the largest lazy Susan I've ever seen - probably for a group of 15-20.

The menu is the right degree of large but not overwhelming and is brimming with traditional Chinese items. Most dishes we tried were seasoned well with a robust and satisfying great level (if spicy). The surprise got for many was the sour fish soup. The pork with mustard greens was liked by all as was the salt and pepper pork ribs.

The desert items brought to the table were tasty and wonderfully crisp yet delicate and deliciously warm inside.

Overall a great meal and a spot we are looking forward to returning to.“

Would definitely go back my experience was a 5/5 and I loved the employee and how they stay on top of refills for all their tables. Singapore rice noodles can be ordered non-spicy. Large portions, good prices. Would definitely recommend stopping here for a quick bite to share.“

“We are soooo happy we gave TK WU a try when visiting Ann Arbor. The food was amazing! I ordered The Broccoli Chicken expecting your run-of-the-mill experience only to have the BEST Broccoli Chicken I’ve ever experienced. You have spoiled me, lovely TK WU, and now every other version will be subpar. The staff were also SUPER adorable. We noticed how cute they were with their regulars and wishing them well and safe travels for the holidays. LOVE IT! They clearly loved their guests and it was precious to see. The restaurant was decorated in red for the holidays and walls were covered with pictures of what appeared to be friends and family. This place was so cozy it felt like being welcomed into someone’s home for lunch. Definitely 10/10 recommend! We can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in the city.“

Canton China Restaurant is hands down the best Chinese food around! My go-to choice is the Sesame Chicken combination with chicken fried rice, and it never disappoints. The meal comes with an egg roll and plum sauce, and I always order extra plum sauce to pour over my rice for that perfect sweet and savory balance.

The food is always freshly cooked, and the portions are generous enough to enjoy again the next day. What really sets them apart is the quality—when you warm up the leftovers, they taste just as good as when they were first served. Even the rice stays moist and flavorful, unlike most places where it dries out if not eaten right away.

Beyond the amazing food, the staff is incredibly welcoming and always remembers me when I call or stop by. Their friendly service makes every visit feel personal. “Szechuan has been around since before I was born. They are family owned. They have the best Chinese food I have ever had!!! The food is always fresh every single time you go there! I would give their food 15/10.“

“If you are looking for a fast casual place with authentic food, this is definitely worth checking out. The bubble tea was good, but the limited options related to sweetness and ice made this feel like an add-on and not central to their menu. Food options were a little limited, but what they did offer they did well so I definitely recommend it.“

“I was glad to hear there were new owners at Chin Express! A friend recommended checking them out again. I tried calling but got a recording so went to the store. Their menu is extensive, items I haven't seen elsewhere. I ordered basic General Tso to see how it compared with others we have had. It was different and delicious, and enough for 3 meals! Everything is made fresh so it took a while. I liked that the sauce was packaged separately so the chicken didn't get soggy. We look forward to trying the dumplings and other interesting menu items soon.“

“Returned to the restaurant with my husband. We both enjoyed the beef brisket noodle soup and 15 Triple Delight Dumplings. The brisket could be more tender but still chewable, the soup had a nice cinnamon and star anise subtlety not overbearing but with an overall clean, clear and not greasy taste. Our Triple Delight dumplings were filled with chock-full of meat and shrimp mix. Will return again for some of my favourite dishes that I used to order with the previous owners. The new owners are a young husband and wife team so service can be a bit slow.“

“Food is always good whenever I visit, and I recommend the signature soup and soup dumplings as you can’t go wrong with those options. The service is mostly great, with the workers always seeming positive and helpful, but one of the older ladies, possibly the manager, seems less friendly/welcoming but it doesn’t really affect the experience, just an observation. The atmosphere is great, and overall, I haven’t ever had a negative experience with anything like wait times, food, or general hospitality.“

“I gave 5 stars because I always really enjoy coming to this location. The staff is really friendly & they seem to all work together really well. However, I have stopped going to Panda Express entirely because I don't like that they don't willingly provide customers with sauce cups anymore. This isn't unique to this location so I don't want to punish them for it. This location will at least accommodate me if I ask for one & I can't say the same for other locations. I just feel bad whenever I ask for one & it makes me feel like Panda Express doesn't value me as a customer. I only ask for them if I'm buying the rangoons or an egg roll but it baffles me that I have to ask & the staff seems reluctant to provide me one every time.

The sauce cups probably cost less than $0.25 as a company so making me ask for one, especially if I'm spending money on sides, just doesn't sit right with me.“

“Always great food and great service when we visit the restaurant. The hot and sour soup is fantastic. The Spicy Won Ton Appetizer is delicious. My daughter loves their Curry Beef. I have had the Egg Foo Young and the patties are huge. We get take-out lunch about once a week or more. Definitely recommended!!!!!“

“I absolutely love this restraunt! My parents took me here as a small child, before I could even walk, and I grew up eating here! This is the only place I’ve found almond chicken with their almond gravy and it’s hands down the BEST!! Now, my daughter is getting to grow up eating here as well!! I 100% recommend this place!“
