“Everyone who worked there was very friendly, and our waters were constantly being refreshed which I appreciate. We got the brussel sprouts with pork belly to start, and then I got the crunchy puff rice with lettuce leaves which was delicious. There was a lot of food, I couldn't eat even half. A nice place!“

“There's definitely no tie, in my opinion this is the best Thai food in the cities. Everything is so fresh, all the dishes are cooked to perfection, and the food actually is spicy unlike so many other places that are unwilling to give you the heat that you truly crave. Would recommend.“

“Picture a steaming bowl of chicken pho, its intoxicating aroma wafting through the air, promising warmth and comfort. The broth, simmered to perfection, exudes a delicate balance of savory chicken essence and aromatic spices like star anise and ginger. Slices of tender, poached chicken float gracefully atop a bed of rice noodles, absorbing the broth's rich flavors with each passing moment.Fresh garnishes of cilantro, Thai basil, and bean sprouts add bursts of color and freshness, while a squeeze of lime injects a zesty tang that dances on the palate. Each spoonful is a journey of texture and taste, as the silky noodles intertwine with the savory chicken, creating a harmonious symphony of flavors that lingers long after the last slurp. A bowl of this delicious chicken pho is more than just a meal—it's a sensory experience that nourishes both body and soul. The chicken pho was delicious ?“

“This is the best place to go if you are craving some great Thai food. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are big. I got Chicken Pad Thai and Egg Rolls. They were both so good and because of the portion size. I have a whole other meal for later. This is a cozy little restaurant with 5 tables in total (there wasn't a wait when I was there) located in a building with other establishments. You scan a QR code that takes you to the website where you view the menu and order online. You can use cash or card. There is both dine in and takeout.Parking: There is a big parking lot behind the building“

“This place was amazing! First Khao Soi I’ve had outside of Thailand, and it was SO delicious. Ingredients are imported from Thailand. The owner is from Chiang Mai, so the decor and menu are heavily inspired by beautiful Northern Thailand. They’re relatively new — they’ve been open for 11 months. I will definitely return and continue to support them. Wishing them much success. ❤️“

“Oh my goodness!! Absolutely delicious! Clean establishment, parking was easy, and the service was good. The food was the best I have had in a while. I ordered larb, spring rolls, and ginseng coffee. I love spicy food and the larb was truly spicy and full of flavor! I will return here for sure!“

“My husband and I went to Thailand recently for our honeymoon and this food tastes just as good in my opinion, which the food in Thailand was absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend ordering from here for takeout night. I got the chicken red coconut curry and it's sweet/spicy/savory, super tasty! Also, the service was amazing and fast, and picking up inside the store it seemed clean and had a very nice atmosphere“

“Had a very nice lunch here with my cousin. The food is quite authentic. Had spring rolls, Pad Thai, and Laab. I was so excited they had chicken Laab, most places just have pork. You can even get tofu Laab here. The spring rolls had rather a lot of lettuce but very fresh. My cousin and I hadn't seen each other in a long time, so we were there quite awhile. Staff was very patient with us, though did not offer us any refill on water ?Dietary restrictions: My cousin likes this restaurant because it works well with her dietary restrictionsParking: They have a parking lot in back but it's unmarked and hard to find“

“This place is a dream come true! The food is incredible, from the huge modular entrees to the gigantic “mini-feast”, or the ribs which were the best I’ve ever had. What I am most excited about however is the brunch! I am planning on coming back every Sunday to try all of their brunch items.“

“we've been here probably a dozen times and haven't had anything that wasn't delicious. particularly love the fresh rolls, red curry and drunken noodles but we've tried almost everything and never been disappointed. my daughter usually doesn't like pad thai because it can be fish sauce heavy but here she loves it. if you like Thai food, this is your new GoTo place .“

“I'm not a sushi fan, so I got shrimp pad thai, which was excellent. "Medium" spice was enough for me. My dad got a custom sushi roll that was made perfectly to order, which he really loved. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable. We'll be back!“

“This place is definitely one of my favorites. The food is delicious and fast. I always get the Panang curry or the pad Thai. I really like how comfortable the small and quiet dining area is with all the plants. Super friendly family-owned place. I'm always so surprised that this place isn't super busy because it should be!Vegetarian options: Most dishes have a choice of meats, tofu, or veggie“

“Easily the best Thai food we’ve had in the cities! My husband and I went to Thailand for our honeymoon and have been looking for a local spot that offers truly authentic Thai cuisine, and these dishes take us right back. We found out the women making the food used to work the street food markets in Thailand. ❤️ Can’t recommend this place enough!“

“First I have to say that the food was just wonderful! I had Thai food before at another place and it was just nasty. I was reluctant to try this place but glad that I did. Very good food! my boys are picky eaters and they loved their food. This place is very cozy and very relaxing place to eat. The staff is very friendly, we will be back!!“

“Authentic? Absolutely! How can it not be? The chef is authentically Hmong, his experiences are Hmong, and thus his food is ? Hmong! Traditional? Not completely. I love it for what it is…an evolution of the Hmong food diaspora here in America! While visiting my beautiful niece and her little family, I had a strong hankering to eat Hmong food. She suggested this brilliant establishment. The wait was short and the portions abundant. While eating I was transported back to mom/dad’s kitchen, and the after school meals they would prepare for us! The sausage is excellent and had all the flavors of Hmong new year. Lemongrass, fat, herbs, salt…and crunch! The pork was perfectly cooked and we loved dipping it in hot sauce along with the sticky rice. I highly recommend this authentic Hmong dining experience and can not wait to dine at Vinai next time I visit. I just wish Seattle had something similar. Thank you Chef Yia for moving our food into the future while preserving our past! Cheers!“

“THE BEST! Lamphai (maybe I'm spelling her name wrong) is the sweetest lady. She has run this restaurant on her own for 28 years and makes excellent food. She was so friendly and showed me all the herbs that she uses for her dishes. She piled my lunch buffet plate high with beef, chicken curry, pork, wontons, and rice, and checked in to make sure it wasn't too spicy and that I'd had enough rice. Stop by Taste of Thailand for great food and support this long running, woman-owned business!“

“This is by far the best Thai that we have in the neighborhood! I usually get pad Thai and red curry anytime I try a new place, and I’ve been disappointed with the two other places nearby—but not here! I asked for pad Thai Flamin hot with tofu and it’s one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. The tofu was perfectly cubed and fried without being greasy, and the sauce a rich brown color with notes of peanut, tamarind, and lime (slightly sweet and tangy), and the spice was perfectly hot without being overpowering. Most other places give me mild/medium when I ask for Thai hot, and this place actually listened. The red curry was also memorable with bright flavors from the Thai basil and veggies. Poured over rice, it’s a heavenly combo perfect for a cold night. I am so grateful to have a new go-to Thai spot! I hope they stick around for a long time.“

“I don’t know much about Pho. I don’t think it’s for me. My daughter loves pho. So we checked out PHOEVER.Fast service, lots of options. Very tasty pho. I liked it. Large portions. We also got the pork egg rolls. Those were very good.If you like pho, you should check out PHOEVER.Parking: Parking in the ramp behind the building is probably easiest. Free parking. Otherwise the free lot across the street has plenty of parking also, but it’s a pain, and dangerous, to try to cross.“

“The Orchid Restaurant was a recommendation from a friend. We Loved it. We went at lunch time and there was plenty of seating. We did get there shortly after they opened, but the place started to fill up around noon. Will be bringing my wife and daughter soon.“
“Wow! The food is amazing. Yes, it's a bit pricy, but quantities are generous, and the freshness can't be beat. We had the little shrimp dumplings, crab fried rice, green curry, and spring rolls. Spices were on point, we both loved the use of fresh herbs in the dishes. Highly recommend!“

“Today we went to Sam Thai for the first time. The service was wonderful! We had fresh vegetable spring rolls, green curry, and pad Thai. We both agreed it was the best Thai that we’d ever had. I also had the most wonderful cup of hot tea. I highly recommend this establishment and I’m looking forward to going back.Oh! One more thing, I think it’s worth noting, my dining companion does not like spicy food at all and the pad Thai he had accommodated his taste preference without sacrificing flavor. My meal was an American 3 on a scale of 0 - melt-your-face-off Thai 10. It was just enough spice for my cheeks to get rosy. Just perfect.“

“My husband and I had the Laos papaya salad (4/5 spice), dried noodles (3/5 spice) and beef laab (3/5 spice). The food was amazing!! The spice and flavor was on point! The service was excellent!!The owner was very personable and met our needs to the best of his abilities. My husband wanted raw laab, but he couldn’t serve it raw, so he made it medium rare. The atmosphere was casual but a little small; if I would’ve brought my family there, it would’ve been difficult to seat everyone.Lunch hour. Reasonable price. Parking was not an issue.“

“Visited twice. The freshest and I believe most authentic Thai food in recent memory. The MOST respectful service and the best tasting had in a very long time. “One of the best places ever!! The owner and staff are so kind, welcoming and just amazing. My friends and I adore this place. We came in a little late (about 40 minutes before closing) but they were so gracious to let us stay, chat and finish our food, even after closing time. The food is also scrumptious and lovely! It was a HIT! Literally, so kind and wonderful!!“

“It has been a LONG time since I've been here. It used to be my favorite Thai place, but that was before I explored other great places MN has to offer. Honestly, it held up. The flavor's are great. However, I ordered Pad See Yew and Drunken Noodle and I honestly could barely tell them apart. I know they are similar dishes, but a little more variation could help. Lastly, I remember the Fried Rice being really good, and that's primarily what I wanted to review... but they forgot my order and I didn't want to correct the issue (luckily I ordered too much anyways). I'd go back.“

“Found this spot 2 years ago and we (coworkers) have been going regularly for lunch ever since. We've tried a few things off the menu, but the main thing we're ordering is the beef noodle soup "pho". IMHO best 'dark' broth pho in the area! --probably because there isn't any other spots within a 5min drive from our work place. I mean we have tried other spots further, but nothing has beat this spot in terms of flavor. There's probably 2 that are close, but none has us wanting to go back for more. Service-wise you can expect the expected. On busy days, service is slow. You can also expect that sometimes food will take 15+minutes. It's also possible you might have to grab more napkins on your own if you need more. It's also possible you might have to ask for more water as well. What I'm saying is, the service is there. They're all friendly and nice people. Do be warned though, you might hear the aunty be demanding sometimes to new workers. The place is nice. Situated between a small pet store and a sports store. I don't think any of the tables are wobbly, but don't blame me if there is, personally, we've only really sat in a few booths and tables. They've got plenty of tables. I don't recall any music, but I do recall just a slideshow of their menu on repeat. Just sneaking in my 'ambiance' piece. Anyways, pro tip: if you're trying to grab a quick lunch and dine-in, you can order ahead of time on the phone. Another pro tip: during lunch hours, lunch special portion is a good option if you're not able to eat a whole entree by yourself. So if you see something you want and it's on the lunch special, give it a go. Just some info on things I've tried: Khao Soy is one of the best I've had in the Cities, unless someone can point me to a better spot. Chicken Lettuce Wrap is . Spicy chicken wing is hit or miss, but when it hits, it's . Don't expect the Pad Kra Pow to be like your typical Thai restaurant - this one is a light stir fried version without the fried egg and without the minced meat. Rah Nah is real good. Fried rice is . I highly recommend this spot. Note* get your spice levels correctly. Be warned, mild can be spicy.“

“Thai Twist has become a weekly lunch stop for us. I'll admit that we haven't tried a lot of their menu, but that's simply because their curry is so good that we order it every time. We've had both the red and green curry, and both are maybe the best we've ever had. My wife can't handle anything spicy, so she orders hers not spicy and she loves it. I'm a big fan of both their medium and their hot; the hot is definitely spicy but the heat is well balanced and doesn't overpower the dish. Both the red and green curry are packed with meat and veggies, and are incredibly flavorful. We also love their spring rolls; the flavor and textures are great, and the peanut dipping sauce is very flavorful. The service is always friendly; I've had many great conversations with them, and they've offered me coffee and other beverages on the rare occasion where I've had to wait for my order. Their prices are VERY reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get; if you have a problem paying $15 for good authentic curry then I don't know what to tell you. This is a great locally owned business, and as a chef who owns my own place I absolutely love supporting these guys.“

“Great food my only problem is portion for 35$ I’d expect more from them. I try to go every month because the food is great. Too much noodle not enough protein and vegetable. I recommend the lobster egg rolls the sauce is amazing and Drunken Noodles are great just order extra protein and veggie.“

“The food has been consistently excellent at Bagu. I have taken many friends and they all say the food is very good. It is better than almost all the Sushi restaurants we have in the Twin Cities. “The food was phenomenal! It all tasted very well put together, and the spice of each dish was amazing. I'd say Little Asia is definitely a great place to authentic Hmong style cooking food. Service was a little iffy as in slow, but it was not too much of a big deal. I just hope it isn't as slow when they're super busy Pork Belly was crispy and juicy Beef brisket was the STAR Sticky rice, could've been better. Some of it was a little harder in texture like the outer layer RAW beef laab was good and herb-y Kapoon Kua Tshia- tasted well, but we expected more from it as in flavor and meat provided“

“Really glad to find this place after going to few Thai restaurants here in Minneapolis that were so-so and kind of overpriced. This is pretty authentic stuff, and glad to find things I don't see in other Thai restaurants like the hamok and the sour sausage, which were great. Did take out and not eat in, but the service was friendly and quick. The area is a bit run down and the parking situation was funky, but I'll definitely go back for the food.“
“I ordered chicken pad Thai from here for the first time today. It was great, quick and well priced. This is a take out only place so don’t expect to dine in though there is seating outside. I will be back to try more food but what I ordered was great.“

“Don't sleep on this place. It's more of a venue but they have takeout dinner hours late week-weekend. The generals chicken is better than most places and the chicken laab is great. They nail it on your spicy preferences. I reccomend calling in your order so you can leave a tip. Online orders are through a platform and you can't tip in store. They're always super fast and friendly. Family owned spot. Hmong sausage and sticky rice is on point also.“

“Order some lunch through Grub Hub. Typical delvery, no issues there. The food was still warm. Order spice level 5, but it was not spicy at all. Over all the flavor, profiles were good, but they were small portions listed at around $12 to $15 per dish. For the price vs. the portion size,i would not order again. Im sure Grub Hub jacked up the prices some. Could be better for dining in or picking up yourself. That is usually always the best way to go. I would try again because i enjoyed the food, but just not through an app service.“
