“1st time visiting here, had omelet and wife had a breakfast as well. All great! Hash browns were actually brown and just the way I like them. Omelet had very good amount of ham et al. Shout out to waitress Lilli, very attentive, helpful and a very pleasant personality! Though we live elsewhere, our experience was very good! if opportunity arises, will return“

“Why is it when we order a single Butterburger, they decide to sell us a double Butterburger and charge us for that? How convenient that they don’t give you a receipt and don’t know it until you open the wrapper. Done in or drive thru is the same. All The Time!“

We came in as a party of 2, last Friday evening, about a third of the tables were open. It took 15 minutes before we were asked for our drink orders. We only ordered waters as I had no idea how much the beers were because there aren't ANY PRICES on the drink menu! Unacceptable!!Nothing explained to us about specials, drinks or anything. The waitress was rushed, likely not her fault, maybe understaffed. We put our food order in at the same time because we knew they were busy. A table nearby asked someone who just received their food, how long they waited. They said 45 minutes. By this time, we had been waiting 25 already. There was a dirty table across from us, still had empty plates and cups from the people who had left BEFORE we got there. At this point we decided to leave, rather than waiting an additional 30 minutes for our simple order. This is a management problem. A manager would go to the kitchen and see they were swamped, and NOT seat new tables. And should probably HELP the kitchen? Rather than leave that decision to a teenager who is hosting, how is she supposed to know? If we were told 45 minutes wait on food, we would not have bothered. From this experience, we have no reason to come back.“

“got the grizzlies bloody Mary. for only $13 it was a 28 oz glass with their homemade bloody Mary mix 1/4 of a chicken. The thigh and leg rotisserie style, fabulous, celery cheese olives lemon and bacon. All for $13. then I had an appetizer of firecracker shrimp with blue cheese dressing. It was absolutely delicious!“

“It's okay for a MN lakes restaurant. Not the best, but better than average for Brainerd area I suppose. Scallops delish but $18 per scallop is not indicative of the quality. I would have been happier with 5 Scallops instead of 3. No food gasms for anything and the bread is worthless tasteless dough. Sorry, but do better for a 4.7 $200 dinner for 2.“

“I don’t typically write reviews, but I went to this restaurant 1.5 months ago and had their chicken salad sandwich and a bloody mary. I became a part of the clean plate club that day. This is the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my entire life. The buns, the perfect temperature of the chicken salad, love and kisses in every bite. The fries were also amazing as well as the Bloody Mary. I live like 3 hours away but have thought of driving that far just for this sandwich. I think about it so much I had to come and write a review because it crosses my mind more than it should. The waitress was also super nice! One day I will be reunited with this sandwich again!“

“Absolutely one of our most favorite restaurants to go to. We travel little over an hour just to enjoy there always amazing hot food, great customer service and warming welcome as soon as you enter. No matter what we have ordered we have never been disappointed and there caramel and cinnamon rolls are always something we take home with us. I highly suggest the caramel or cinnamon roll as an absolute must!!“

“Went to St. Mathias last night with mama and had some excellent food and great drinks, great staff were very attentive and I got to see Big Al!! We will definitely be back! 5 star all the way“

“Our waiter was kind and quick to answer our questions and concerns about allergens. He stayed attentive during our visit and kept our waters filled. Our experience featured a beautiful view of the golf course and we got to watch planes flying by. My girlfriend and I ordered our steaks medium rare but mine came out a little tough. Hers was cooked perfect and her meal was amazing. I felt my meal was decent and not worth the price, but the shallot butter pan sauce was spectacular.

Dietary restrictions: I’m allergic to peanuts and shellfish so the waiter double checked my dinner choices. Ended up switching choices due to cross contamination in the frying oil and had to swap my fries for a loaded baked potato.“
