“Awesome food and people. Flame grilled bar burgers made to order everyday. Great regular weekly specials. Fry bread tacos are amazing on Tuesdays (big as you head), fried chicken on Wednesdays is the best in the entire coulee region, and the beer battered fish and shrimp on Fridays is awesome. Get the beer battered shrimp; they’re huge! Everything is made fresh to order. Love Barb the owner too. Worth the drive.“

“Monday nights I come in, is the best time and day, I dont know the girls name who that bartends she is really friendly and polite she also has the best attitude 😌 towards me and my buddies that we go in to play pool. Also cheap pop and reasonable pool. the best bar in Lax I will keep coming back thumbs up 👍“

“If you’re looking for a bartender who can mix drinks AND life advice with equal parts sarcasm and charm, Jimmy’s your guy. I asked for “something strong but classy,” and he handed me a drink that tasted like it was mixed by James Bond on a student budget — perfect. He’s basically the bartender version of Google: he somehow knows what you want before you even finish the sentence. Also, he pours heavy enough that I started tipping like a millionaire halfway through the night. Don’t let the smile fool you though — Jimmy will roast you harder than the lime he just torched for your cocktail. 10/10 would let him judge my drink order again.“

“I drove to lacrosse for a community event but got denied entry and not really sure why. I am from out of state and in mpls I’ve had to call the police to get my id back but at least here the guy just shook his head and handed it back. Lucky didn’t have a problem going anywhere else in town so I’m just assuming my vibe was unwelcome (I was excited to get out of my small Iowa town and was dancing before even handing my id over to the bouncer) plus all the people I’m with are from mn so it just is a bad look being from the odd state. still gonna give 3 stars because every time I run to mpls to my collage town friends I always get questioned and like I said once had to call the police to get my id back and all this guy did was shake his head no and handed it right back so 3 stars is earned because bouncer wasn’t ego maniac like mpls power tripped bouncers but I did drive a long way so I’m gonna revoke the tow stars. Hope to be able to give my money next time in town as I’m sure I’ll be more welcome.“
“I got drunk at home and wandered over to this place mostly because it was open. I don't remember much but I made it home safely and still had my wallet so that's like a 10/10 outcome for a La Crosse Northside bar. A+ would go again if I can remember where it is.“

“Very relaxing, everyone so friendly and food was fabulous! We stayed at The Radisson to see the Rotary Lights. After, we went back, freshened up and went downstairs for dinner, very convenient. We asked to be by the windows with a view the lights while we ate but no seats were available and our table was set at a different location, waiting for us to finish our drinks. The gentleman that seated us, moved our table to a window seat that had just opened up without even asking before we went in. We were very impressed that he did this and it made our meal that much more enjoyable. The food was fantastic and would highly recommend. This is our 4th year going there for the lights and we would do it any other way! Enjoy!!!“
