“We were excited to find this restaurant here last fall, and have been back several times. Always the same 5 star service, drinks, and food. Best marguaita around, good selection of beers, and fish tacos are my favorite. Only place my wife can find taquitos and the chimi’s are huge. We are fortunate to have such an excellent Mexican restaurant near us.“

“Food is always good: reasonably priced.
The server seemed indifferent for most of our experience but when I spoke in Spanish, he was much friendlier after that, even laughing and smiling.
He was very accommodating from beginning to end, he just didn't seem to be very personable till I spoke his language.
No complaints, however, it's always good food!“

“To compare 2 locations. White Bear Lake's local = TOILET!! Don't EVER eat/drink there!! However, Don Julio's in Forest Lake is clean, and the portions are MORE than fair. The staff, service, and the friendliness!! They made us feel like "FAMILY" !!!!
FANTASTIC ESTABLISHMENT!!
MUCHOS GRACIAS!!!!“
“The food was great. The water had a chemical taste (the others had a lemon slice, and they said it was okay). The soda tasted fine. Our waiter was quick to take our orders but never came back to see if we wanted a refill on our beverages. We were there for nearly two hours.I“

“Only took stars off of atmosphere because, hey, its just a fast food restaurant. But the food is always delicious (and right, don't remember ever getting the wrong order, unlike some other places in town) and the staff is super nice and always seems to want to do a good job.“

“What an unexpected treat. Who would have thought that a chain of Mexican restaurants in Minnesota could have had tasty cuisine with reasonable prices. Even our Wisconsin family members weren't overpowered by the spices, although it was possible to turn the heat up if wanted.“
