“So, I’ve had unpredictable bouts of constipation throughout my life. I remember receiving enemas that were meant for elderly individuals when I was 8 or 9. When I attended this restaurant, I haven’t had a bowel movement in around 2-3 days. Previously before that I required stimulant laxatives, which creates muscle contractions to force waste out of your anus. I tried a basic cheeseburger with a side of fries, and a raspberry peach iced tea. As soon as I finished my meal, I felt it. The rumbling that signals such an impending cloud of doom in your stomach, causing your heart to metaphorically drop 50 feet from my chest. I drove home, as I didn’t feel it appropriate to require Perkins to call in a biohazard crew to wall off the women’s restroom. Immediately I rushed down to the toilet, and unleashed hell. 3 days worth of regularly eaten-and-digested goodness exploded out of my bottom like a flood gate- It was indescribable the stench, it could probably harm a small child. Like not normal fecal matter, something radioactive and potent enough to kill a rodent. It was half liquid and half solid as it endlessly exited it’s swollen, dark tomb. I have never felt such relief, and from the most unlikely of places. Thank you, Perkins. May our stars cross again someday when I need to take a giant gorilla dump.“

I know what you’re thinking, “How good can pie really be? In fact, we moved almost an hour away and still drive back to use this bakery for special occasions. I only wish their hours of operation were better (after work on weekdays and longer on weekends!) Sure everyone has a bad day or two but girl gave a "I'm tired of this job and life" attitude. Not only was she not friendly, she didn't listen fully to my order. I asked for a croissant sandwich and she just rang me up for a regular one. I got a Thai ice coffee... I got 75%cream and 20%coffee and ice. WHERE WAS THE SWEET CONDENSED MILK? usually would not make a fuss but if I'm spending $30 for a coffee and pastries at least be right and friendly. Aside from this, the quality of the pastries are alway 100%.“

“What an exceptionally unique place.

Excellent selection of flavors, although I suspect there may not be much that's "natural" about the colors and flavors.

But for an occasional treat, they are fantastic! No shortage of sweetness, and the texture was to die for.

There are some reviews that mention a less than stellar texture which should only be the case if you wait a day or more to eat them.

I ordered two 10-packs as gifts and a bag of 4 of their "broken" macarons to try.
Day 1: INCREDIBLE.
Day 2: not so incredible. They seemed to dry out quickly. But if you eat same day, I am confident you will not be disappointed!

“I visited the day before Easter, in search of Easter Bread. I was not disappointed! Easter treats in all forms of breads. Tamales are available Saturday and Sunday. Those are exceptional. If you miss getting them, you can order them for the next weekend.
The Easter breads are not exceptionally sweet but the flavor is something that I remember as a kid growing up in an Italian household. My Mom baked for days before Easter and it all was devoured by Monday. Easter breads are a tasty treat with coffee or just for breakfast. So lovely toasted with butter. Fantastic untoasted too. Nuts, raisins, citron. Some varieties have cinnamon swirls.
Their fruit Empanadas hit the spot anytime! Apple, pineapple and strawberry.

“I went for lunch while in the area of Rosedale Mall.
When you enter the building, it's not clear which line to enter. They have tablets at one counter, then a server at another counter.
There were no fountain drinks, but you can buy a bottled soda and ask for a glass with ice. A water dispenser is available, but no ice unless you ask for it. I know, it's a small thing, but I like ice in my sodas.
Food options and portions were good. People seemed to enjoy their meals.
Dining area has a good number of tables, and there's also bar seats for single diners.“

“The Salted Cake is amazing! We used them for a birthday cake recently and they knocked it out of the park! The cake looked beautiful and tasted fantastic! My only regret was that we didn’t get a picture before devouring it! We’ll definitely be using them for any future cake needs!“
