“The other week, I was in the northern metro suburbs and started to get hungry. I drove past Sarna's Grill in Columbia Heights and, judging by the building's welcoming appearance, decided to park and give it a try (though I know that doesn't necessarily mean the food or service will be good).\n\nThat said, my decision was bolstered by the spacious, inviting interior, wide aisles, booths filled with couples and families, and the waitstaff delivering trays of appetizing food.\n\nA friendly waitperson greeted me at my table and offered me a menu with a variety of options, from burgers and salads to complete meals, including pasta and hot turkey or beef.\n\nI chose the BLT on artisan whole wheat with a side of coleslaw. It looked so tempting that I took a bite of half the sandwich before realizing I hadn't taken a picture of the food. What you see in the attached image is the mouth-watering inside of the delicious BLT.\n\nAs it turned out, I had an hour to kill. After finishing my meal, I asked if I could hang out for a while. The friendly waitperson said I could stay as long as I wanted and brought me a cup of coffee to pass the time.\n\nThat kindness made my day and earned her a nice tip. Plus, I promised to return the next time I'm in the neighborhood.“

“My husband and I had a splendid lunch date at the Himalayan Restaurant. The seating outdoors is so beautiful and is decorated with many flowers. The atmosphere inside for lunch was quite peaceful, which is my ideal type of restaurant.
We ordered dumplings as an appetizer. My husband enjoyed the extra spicy sauce. I liked the sauce with tomatoes and spices.
The main courses are made to the spice level you prefer. The chicken tikka masala and the mixed curry were absolutely delicious. The naan was seasoned well with garlic and herbs. The white and brown rice were fluffy and cooked perfectly as well.
We are hoping to eat here again soon. Highly recommend!

“UPDATED to say that this place is such a hidden gem and I need more people to know about it. This recent time, I had the Yangon beef curry and it was perfection. The stuffed tofu was great and the tea leaf salad was just as delightful as it was the previous time. I really like that they can omit the fish sauce in the tea leaf salad and stuffed tofu. Consistency matters and this place has it.

Really enjoyed the tea leaf salad. Highly recommend! I wanted to try the boat noodles but they said they were out of it. We were there an hour after they opened on a Saturday and there were only 3 other parties there. I guess they don't have it consistently. The yellow curry was pretty good. I also enjoyed the pad thai. I like that they can make some things vegetarian/vegan. I'd come back.“

The guy at the register was so nice had a smile on his face every time he greeted customers and it was busy and very warm on Sunday 9/15. “Decent salads, and many good toppings to choose from. They have a menu or you can build your own. I personally enjoy their Classic Caesar, but if you want to add some chicken, it's an upcharge. To be honest, the only drawback to this place is the price. $10 - $15 for a simple salad is a little much in my opinion. However, it's fast, and good for anyone trying to lose a few inches around the waist. Sadly, if you make it a regular occurrence, your wallet may end up getting thinner faster than you.

Still, I'd recommend the place. Quick service, decent quality food, good if you're grabbing something quick to take back to the office.“

“HEADS UP VEGETARIANS!!! If you order a plain cheese pizza with wild rice on it, or a "hog in the bog with no sausage", the wild rice still has sausage mixed in. I have no idea why. It's not indicated as such on the website and several employees *do not know* that the wild rice comes with sausage mixed in and cannot be included separately as vegetarian. This is my one and only complaint and it breaks my heart because everything else is awesome but this lack of communication around seemingly vegetarian-safe ingredients is quite frankly a health risk.“

“I have probably ate here 50 times over the past ten years and it’s the best pizza and salads period. It always tastes fresh and consistent. The reason I keep coming back is because the price has stayed (around) the same for the past 7+ years!
There is literally no where else you can get a whole fresh pizza and a small salad for around $16. I really appreciate that they keep it semi affordable. These days McDonald’s costs that much!
The food is much better than pizza Luce or toppers, any of the surrounding area competitors, which are just ok to me.

“I have only heard about this place due to the club that opens there at 10, and decided to try the dinner menu with my mom. I was not disappointed! We both got a beverage, appetizer and an entree. There was a slight issue with one of the entrees and our server and manager took great care of us. Will highly recommend this to other friends and family!“

“First and foremost, I love their customer service, the way they handle the issues. I would love to give them the highest rating possible because of the friendly staff, good food and all. Most importantly, prolly the shift manager, Alexa, she did an amazing job handling a bad situation caused by uber, they failed to deliver twice so she came by herself to drop my food which was amazing and all were on the house as a courtesy. Dietary restrictions: I think that Olive Garden can accommodate just about every dietary restriction a guest might have.

Parking: On a busy night beware of the parking... You might have to walk a considerable distance to the restaurant.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly. Our server weren't out of his way to make my son feel very special on my birthday... I'll be honest: I was a little jealous. 😄

“This is a great fast food option within easy walking distance of the Doubletree Inn. I ordered the #40, a white pizza with buffalo mozzarella, prosciutto, and arugula. It was great—the pizza looked big but the dough was thin, so it wasn’t as heavy as some pizzas. The dough had a lovely tang and chewiness, and I loved the toppings. The crisped arugula had a great smokiness to it. My husband had a pepperoni pizza with peppers, and he said it had a nice, small kick of spice. The dining room was narrow but had a lot of tables without feeling cramped. The patio area looked great, but unfortunately it was raining during our visit.“

I loved my vegetable tacos, made with grilled wild mushrooms, zucchini, and onion, and served with a really good homemade salsa. The coffee was also very good and slightly smoky (chicory?) The crafts gift store and art gallery in the building are a welcome plus! I want to bring guests from out of town here.“

“We had Old Southern Bbq cater for our wedding and it was absolutely an amazingly positive experience! The director of catering, Amy, was so helpful and on top of everything. The catering team was absolutely wonderful! All of our guests ranted and raved about the food all night, especially the potato salad and the cornbread muffin tops. Would definitely recommend!“

“Good pizza, prepared to order. I like the flame oven type of crust. Had a pepperoni pizza. One of their services is that they offer some free things to finish your pizza, like arugula, or pesto oil. Nice. Would not order the Caesar salad again; it was basically just romaine lettuce and some croutons with Caesar dressing. Pretty uninspired for the price. The thing to come here for is the pizza, which was quite good.“
