“I thought i would give this a try as I was in the area on a Friday night. The casino is small but offers quite a bit of card games for those who enjoy poker, black jack, pai gao and several others. When you first walk in, the bar area and restaurant greet you, I grabbed a seat at the bar and was quickly offered a water and menu. I ordered a club sandwich and fries($10), my sandwich arrived pretty quickly and was delicious. the club is large and filling, and the fries were tasty. If you are looking for a good value in the Forest Lake area, it's hard to pass up Trout Air Tavern but it does come with whole Casino vibe.“

“We went to Tom's Pumpkin Patch and stopped here for an early dinner afterwards. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodated our 4 adults and 4 kids wonderfully! The food was great and so reasonably priced. We'll come here again!“

“Amian has always been good but under their new ownership has gotten even better. The quality of the dishes is superb, the portions are very large, and really reasonable prices. The American Chinese dishes are great and surprisingly they have a very good pad thai. Looking forward to trying more dishes and happy to have them so close!“

Pure yum. My mini food critic, Buggie, went for the taco salad and a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. She's 12, so her taste buds are still a work in progress, but hey, as long as it makes her happy, right? 😄 As for my husband, he tackled the bacon cheeseburger. Now, here's where things got interesting. The food arrived piping hot, but the location of the Village Inn has some wild intersections, and guess what? A car accident unfolded right before our eyes. my old man had to rush out to help (he's a firefighter), so he ended up eating his burger cold. But guess what? It still hit the spot. “Shout out to my new favorite spot! This is the only bar in the North Branch area that will play a Packers Game for locals and not just the Vikings games. They are extremely friendly. The owner is amazing and accommodating unlike, sadly, some of the other local owners who won't even make eye contact with patrons. Their food is amazing! The bartender and waitress are hard workers especially given the short staffed situation of all places as of late. We go out alot and this place is the place we will frequent even though it's farther away than others! Love it here. Thanks Friar's!“

“Food was good but I tried a new item and it just doesn't fit right... A chicken hot honey meal, It came on a nice hot skillet, flavor was good, it looked pretty... But a cut up chicken breast w/ onions & mushrooms on top & a side of fries was ??? I took my meat side home with me and put it on top of a bed of rice and to me that worked better!? 😁“

“wally sandwich was full of bones. they asked if i wanted something else, i said a burger. that came after everyone I was there with were almost done with meal. my burger had blood sitting on top. I cut into raw meat. sent back due to i dont eat raw burger ever. other in our party were finishing up meals. i got my burger. they diďnt offer to replace my french fries that were very cold by now. I was so upset. they charged us the price of the wally sandwich instead of the burger that was less. that topped it. i won't be back unless they take things seriously! contact me!!! why didnt they take anything off our bill due to the issues??? we had 3 couples for supper with drinks and appetizers! we put lots of money down that day.“
