“Everything about this place was great! Knew the bartender so that was a benefit. The food was really good and the portions where large, larger them most places you get your money's worth. Only complaint would be it very dim lit! The atmosphere is nice just got the lights down a bit to much it was hard to see any distance when looking around. Just up a couple of notches but great overall!“

“We decided to stay in the twin cities for spring break this year and do a fun 'staycation' at the omni. We ate at ember and ice - there were 8 of us, 4 kids and 4 adults. The food, service and ambiance were all fantastic. The bartender was super friendly and fun. We had a variety of dishes - salmon, beet salad, chicken tenders, burger. Everything was delicious. We ordered room service from the restaurant for dessert and the dessert was amazing. The fireplace, viking decor ( think Norwegian, cozy, game of thronesish) and cozy vibe was perfect. Loved it all and will be back!“

“We really enjoyed our evening here. We sat at the bar, and lucked out ordering two old fashioneds, as New Riff had just been there and paid them forward. What a treat! We ordered the meat/cheese board, the bruschetta burrata, and carrot cake (made locally by one of the staff). All delicious!! The vibe and atmosphere made it extra fun, as some of the other patrons at the bar and Pete (the amazing bartender) chatted with us. Overall, we had a fabulous night here. We'll be back. “Just finished dinner at the Better Half to try out the new after dark menu - 100/10 recommend! We had the ahi tuna stack, miso sea bass, and the lobster pasta (can’t remember the name) and everything was INCREDIBLE. We wanted to order pretty much everything, it was so hard to decide! I would officially consider this one of the best menus south of the River - can’t wait to come back and do another round of taste testing until we make our way through the whole menu! Shout out to Michael our server - he always goes above and beyond (I somehow always end up in his section 😂 and he is fantastic!)“

Edit: They’ve taken all of my favs off the menu, a huge bummer! Sadly I’m dropping this review down to a 4/5. If they come around to restoring their best items, I’ll gladly bump it back to 5.

Edit 2: They brought my prized Pulled Pork Sandwich back, and I swear it tastes better than it ever did. Practically inhaled the thing. You’ve earned your 5th star back. Please never remove that delicious sandwich again!

“We come here often, great food. The staff is wonderful. Taco pizza, pickle pizza, wings, salads… Everything is good. Fun atmosphere!
We are always surprised how dirty the front doors are. You need to clean the glass multiple times a day, so it looks nice when people walk in. I’m not kidding. This was a topic of conversation at our table the other day because both doors are always filthy. The hosts at the front stand around a lot, they can windex the glass throughout the day. First impression is everything.“

“I love coming to this location when I fly out of the Minneapolis airport. The tomato soup is great. It actually is one of the best I have ever had. I also really enjoy having a mimosa before I board the plane. They make wonderful mimosas and also they make great omelettes if you’re flying out in the morning. Caleb Was very friendly and kind. He has a great upbeat personality.“

“Service can be spotty. Our server forgot our app sampler and bought it at the end. Everyone makes mistakes but they should have comped part of the cost of the late apps without being asked. We were literally done eating the entree and had to box it.“

The food and atmosphere really isn't incredible in any sense but the restaurant is clean, the food arrives quickly and accurately, and the sure maybe the menu variety is pretty limited but everything arrived hot and was tasty. Also our waiter was the best dude. Ended up being a very fun/positive experience.“

“To be fair, I only had pizza, and the menu was quite expansive. That being said, the pizza was stellar! I got the Kiss My Pizza--excellent. Everything else on the menu looked solid, as did the specials (I'm a sucker for pesto pasta, but I'll save that for another trip!).
The service was hit-and-miss... The staff overall seemed friendly and helpful, but our server was rather rude and aggressive in her tone; my dad could have been kinder in his tone too--but he's not an employee.
The interior of the space is really well-curated and decorated, but it was also incredibly loud. It was difficult to have a conversation right next to each other. We moved outside, and it was much nicer. The patio is not very big (the chairs are, however, and that made it extra tight), but it was still nice.
With so many pizza places nearby, I can see why they have such an expansive menu--just trying to compete. At the same time, when you do pizza really well, stick with that!“

“Very good food, the chef is always trying something new which is refreshing instead of having the same items. They prevent their menu from getting stale like some many others. Stacey is amazing, not only a great bartender but she does so much more for Celts. The rest of the staff are really good too. Highly recommend“

“I cannot say enough nice things about this restaurant. The food quality is awesome and the service is exceptional. Their carne asada is something I highly recommend. I would fly all the way from New Jersey for just that! They have a number of gluten-free options which is always great. I ate dinner here on two days and on both occasions my server was Ashlea. Her service (with a smile) is incredible. She is very knowledgeable about ingredients in the menu and can advise on the right choice of items and drinks. She is extremely efficient--always on her toes--and is a true asset to the business. Ashlea made my dining experience a pleasure. Thank you!“
