This time we had the tacos. Again, plentiful meat with the most delicious tasteful toppings. We were fortunate to have the same waiter, Tony. He’s definitely an asset to the restaurant. Very attentive & personable. Highly recommend this gem in St Paul!!”

“We took our granddaughter for her 16th birthday dinner and it was just wonderful! She loved the ambience and our server, Claire, made it even more special. Claire served her lemonade in a fancy glass and took pictures for us. It was very special! The food was amazing - always a favorite for me! The gem salad and the artichokes - yum.”

“We had a reservation for 7 - in the notes I specified 6 adults and a high chair. I could see our table had 7 adult seating's so I had to ask the hostess to fix that. Also specified we were there for a birthday celebration, again those notes must not make their way to the actual restaurant or they don't read them. When we checked in (we were 14 minutes early) for our reservation we were told we couldn't be seated until our actual reservation time. The restaurant had plenty of help and we didn't have our complete party with us which they knew and we were not expecting to order right away rather we just wanted to sit and relax. The food and waitress were great”

“My wife was craving sushi, and we were in the area, so we decided to check it out. Not a huge place, but looks great and the server/bartender was phenomenal - as was the sushi. Highly recommend!”

“Today, this Edina Tavern location, gets a great new employee - Emma. She’s from woodbury and was the Manager there. She made the decision to go back to serving because it’s better in her life. That’s a tough decision and one I respect. But we lose a great person and someone we’ll miss. My buddy and I hit the Tavern Woodbury on tuesdays. Emma’s a warm face and connects w the people (thank you for that). I wish her the best. I hope the Tavern understands what an asset she is?”

“I had a take-out chicken salad sandwich on 7/2 . Sandwich was on sourdough bread which was very dry. Very little salad with way too much lettuce. Chips were mostly regular potato chips. Meal was too expensive. First time having poor quality food at your restaurant.”

“The renovated space feels like a resort-style retreat—beautiful, calm, and incredibly relaxing. We absolutely loved the atmosphere. We were also blessed with an amazing server, Sophie—attentive, quick, and always greeting us with a genuine smile. After reading some mixed reviews, I feel especially grateful we had such a great experience, particularly since we hadn't been back in over a year. The food was excellent. I had the Thai steak, and my wife ordered the chicken rice bowl—both were delicious and well-prepared. They also have a full bar with a solid wine selection and plenty of great non-alcoholic options. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we'll definitely be back!”

“We were visiting in town and wanted some good coffee. We found Edina Coffee Roasters on Google and decided to find it for real. When we arrived we found they had recently opened and were planning on having their grand opening the following week. We ordered 3 Americanos. The coffee was very good! The owner and staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable. The next time we are in town we will visit again! We give it 5 of 5 stars.”

“What a beautiful, pleasant surprise in Southdale mall. We came just for the saffron ice cream; was not disappointed. The ice cream was smooth and rich. Each bite was infused with rose, pistachios, and saffron. Not overly floral; just enough to leave a lovely, fragrant taste afterwards.

Hubby had a cortado as a chaser. That, too, was beautifully delicious.

“I had the chicken enchiladas smothered in queso dip. They’re yummy! The food could come out hotter, but I’ll come back when I get a craving for some cheesy enchiladas and Spanish rice.

For the Richfield/Edina area, this’ll hit the spot for me!

Edited: I went back a couple months later and this time the chicken enchiladas were full of gristle. Maybe it’s hit or miss here. Disappointed.”

“NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY !! They were randomly closed on a Wednesday, which is fine, however their website DID NOT provide this information ! I ordered my food, they took my money, and the confirmation said that the pick up would be the following day . So I went to the location to see what was going on and that's when I saw the sign in the window claiming they were closed . They have NO option to cancel your order once you've made it so I had to wait to the following day to call . They refuse to refund me my money - I'm only in office one day a week , I'm not driving 35 minutes to pick up food that I wanted the day before ! Whoever answered the phone kept talking over me and cutting me off , she admitted that they don't have a way to cancel an order once it's made (which is ridiculous, I could've just canceled it that day and we wouldn't be in this situation ) I explained to her over and over again that their website DID NOT state that they were closed but she didn't care ! Long story short they got $20 out of me and lost a customer for life !”

“Dropped my teen off for a nearby brunch and decided to stop by to check it out while in the neighborhood. The morning bun was the flakiest and most tasty I've ever had, and their Chai is incredible. “Baguettes are among my favorites Kouign Aman was something comparable to a honey bun with a way to hard candy shell. Living in Normandy I will say “kouign aman is a labor of love. It can be great or not good, no in between!! Being here I was really missing it. I’ve tried many here in MN and one place has totally blown my mind but the hours are so up and down. Please take your time on a masterpiece patisserie such as the kouign aman!!!!”
