“We attended a wedding their on Saturday night. I was blown away. The food was top notch and the service was excellent. There was 320 people there and we were served an amazing meal. The food was hot and delicious. We had pork chops and were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was beautiful. Their employees served the room like a fine oiled machine. I even talked with the owner and chef. They definitely put their heart and soles into their business!“

“Just wanted to give a huge shout out to the entire staff tonight. We celebrated my dad’s birthday because he loves the filet mignon. The cheesecake was great but the singing made the whole night. You guys are truly the best!!!“

“What a fun and relaxing restaurant experience . Also we noticed a boat docked belonging to the restaurant. The boat looked like it was rented for a birthday party. We sat outside on tables and the place was very busy inside but not that many people outside. There are lots of different rooms and it's a large restaurant. It's a casual place and menu not super fancy either. We had a very large bacon cheeseburger pizza. The crust tasted very good and many good toppings, bacon, onions and pickles. The waitress was very nice and worked quickly though the place was busy.“

“We stopped in a few weeks ago at 8:20 PM on a Saturday night in July….was told, “the kitchen is closing at 8:30 so we’re not taking any more tables.” Okay? Every restaurant I’ve worked at it didn’t matter if you showed up one minute before closing, you got served. If you close your kitchen at 8:20, update that in your hours. Also, who closes their kitchen at 8:20 on a Saturday night with people still coming in? Past experiences have been good but this was more than mildly annoying.“

“Penny's Diner is supposed to be a 24/7 restaurant open to the public according to it's advertising. Lately Penny's Diner in Glenwood MN has been turning customers away after 9 PM. I don't believe this is a very good business practice and has lost Penny's diner 3 customers and probably more that have not left reviews. This used to be a good place for good food late at night.“
