“La Doña is a fantastic place to meet up with friends for beer, tacos, hablar en Español, and Trivia Mafia. I invite my friends to Trivia Mafia on Tuesday nights, and we have an incredibly fun time with the whimsical trivia. We have even won gift card prizes some times! Today before Trivia Mafia, I ordered chips & guacamole, with extra guacamole and cilantro mayo. I also ordered the steak quesadilla. Very delicious!“
“Awesome place to host an event!! Super helpful staff, great atmosphere and plenty of space for guests.“

“A must visit in the north loop! Great beer! Amazing people! The perfect place to visit before a twins game or any day really… Cory, thank you for the hospitality. I look forward to coming back soon!“
“My favorite spot to grab a beer in the neighborhood. Staff has always been pleasant. Really good brews and usually a nice variety on tap. They host community events regularly and their contribution to the neighborhood is felt and noticeable. Wonderful and comfortable space with public transit nearby for accessibility. Handful of pinball machines. Great little outdoor patio. Gender neutral single stall bathrooms. Solid rotation of good food trucks. Great spot for anyone!“
“This is one of Minneapolis's great breweries! There is so much space here and they usually have a fun food truck for goodies to snack on. What I really loved while visiting, was how much effort was put into the Bavarian decor theme. Super fun!“
“Such a comfortable place for a brew or two.“
“It has a great staff and the people were just so welcoming!“
“Would not work with this venue again, as they do not operate in good faith with their artists. They intentionally lied and misled a group of full-time working artists, and will probably continue to do so moving forward, as venues like this tend to fall into habit of mistreating acts Disappointing to say the least, I would not support live entertainment here. I can guarantee you the money is not going and the hands of the performers or producers putting on the events, as it should. If you are a performer or producer yourself, please look elsewhere, there are many other fantastic venues in the nearby neighborhoods that are worth supporting and working with.“
“Nice patio, comfortable interior. I go to work, drink an Icee or two and eat their free popcorn. Friendly staff. Right on Mainstreet Hopkins.“
“One of the true hidden gems of the Twin Cities metro, an absolutely fantastic nerd and even kid-friendly space (foosball, arcade machines, darts are all favorites). There are few better places to meet up and play a game - personally, not being a sports person, I love the lack of TVs, nothing to sap your attention or make you feel captive to random commercials. I go there regularly to play TTRPGs. Great beer, alcoholic and non-alcoholic seltzers, you can BYOF (Mashawi grill up the road is delicious). The beers aren't the usual 6 IPAs and 5 sours, there's a nice mix of British and German styles (including wheat beers, which are weirdly hard to find).
There are absolutely a million play spaces in different nooks and crannies in the building, you can always find a quiet place to play even if there's music, etc. The owner hosts tons of events, nerdy and otherwise. I only wish I could drink more beer and go more often.“
“Large space. Limited brews, more food than brews which was interesting. The brown ale was great though!!“
“This was our first time here and we had such a great time. So many beverage options and a fun, relaxed place to be. We will be back very soon!“
“We went to Steel Toe for the first time today. We enjoyed the best of Minneapolis summer entertainment. They have a nice outdoor area with a food truck for your tummy. We played a trivia game and saw others playing cribbage. It was quiet and lots of actual chatting and interacting that doesn't happen when music or TV is overbearing.“
“First time here for coffee in the morning and it didn't stay empty for long - wow! Great service and a hidden neighborhood gem for coffee/work or to go (equally busy).
Thankful to see the chairs are now padded too.
Will definitely be back on the regular!“
“Great variety of products! Meat raffle was free with the opportunity of winning free meat, beer or girl scout cookies.“
“Absolutely wonderful! Staff is fun, friendly, and personable. We recently co-hosted an event at Inbound and everything was flawless! Great communication and a huge following that really helped promote the event. The drinks are delicious and even the clientele is great! We can't wait to be back!“
“We threw my sister a baby shower here a few weeks ago. Emily was wonderful to work with leading up to the event, answering all my questions promptly and and was so accommodating, as was everyone on staff the day of. Everyone had a great time & we received several compliments on the venue. It was perfect. Would highly recommend!“

“super fun comedy show & great beer!“
“What an amazing place! We came here to see The Jake and Josie Show. Great atmosphere in my old stomping grounds of Minnetonka. Glen Lake is such a great community and the place was packed all night. Lots of great beer choices and they have a food truck for snacks. I wish there was a bit more parking so come early on a weekend. All the tables fill up really fast. Located on Excelsior Bvld. I highly recommend this place!“

“One of the best breweries in town.“
“Loved this brewery. I have been coming here since the 612 Brewing open their doors and now to Padraigs Brewing for the first time. Although not a beer brewing professional but a beer connoisseur, I really enjoyed the different Irish beers. Please go and support Padraigs Brewing and their excellent beer and ambience.“
“Showed up right before brunch was ending and ordered the churros. They were phenomenal. Then after about 16 minutes we ordered from the regular full bar menu and the chicken sandwich was pretty great. I'm sure the beer is all good too.“

“What a great brewery located in the heart of Birdtown. Great bingo, meat raffle and an annual summer party with great give aways! The patio has live music in the summer. Winter time music moves inside.“
“Great neighborhood place for laid back vibes that is dog and kid friendly“
“I just started really getting into pizza. And this one was wonderful! There was good balance in all ingredients on our pizza. Just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The crust was soft without being chewy or doughy. Our order was cooked fast, too! We were pleasantly surprised by the speed our order came out. Had a great experience here for our first time, and can't wait to go back.“

“Our large group enjoyed great food and wonderful service tonight. Peter was our server and did a fantastic job. It can’t be easy to handle a group of 20+ seniors, but he pulled it off well.“

“My dad and I - both huge craft beer fans- stumbled across this absolute gem last night. Neither of us live in the area (I’m in S Mpls and he’s in the south suburbs), but we were in Plymouth looking for a brewery and this one sounded unique. I’m going to try to make this succinct, but so much was perfection, so here’s a list of PROS:
-Friendly and extremely knowledgable staff. My dad asks lots of questions, and the kind beertender had good answers about how the brews were made, hops used, “this is a little different than other brews in this style, what’s different?”, etc. He even came out from behind the bar to chat with us, which I don’t see at any other tap rooms.
-HUGE variety of brews, and nearly all were fabulous in my opinion.
-Completely unique vibe, which was refreshing for me coming from Minneapolis, where it’s easier to find a brewery thats just like all the other breweries than it is to find someone who’s doing something truly unique.
-Related to the above: chairs were actually comfortable and not those crappy metal chairs every single brewery has.
-Dad loved the library. Between the excellent selection of books and beers, I think he was ready to move in.
-Variety of upcoming events, including the classic trivia, a maker’s market, and TRICYCLE JOUSTING coming up on 6/1.
-Appears they have a patio as well, it was raining when we visited.
-Head brewer is a woman, which is less common than one might hope in 2025, but here we are. She’s so talented, and I’m a fan without even having met you, Lori!
Cons:
-No in-house food, which some may prefer. I didn’t mind ordering in from Davanni’s, who gave us a discount for ordering from the brewery. Perhaps they have food trucks sometimes, I’ll keep an eye out for that when I return. They do have snacks like pretzels and chips.
-This place is not in my back yard, which is only a con for me personally; hopefully they’re closer to you, dear reader.
Overall, well worth a return trip to see what’s on tap and sit a spell in a friendly, welcoming, unique environment.“
