“Who would have thought you could find a bit of tropical paradise in Northern MN?Shook Smoothies has hands-down the best açaí bowl I’ve tasted in Minnesota. It reminds of of the bowls I get in Hawaii. The bowls are well-blended. You won’t find any hard, icy chunks like some other places. The fruit is also freshly sliced. You’ll wait about 5-7 minutes to get a bowl, but the wait is well worth it because they’re making everything fresh.Go here next time you find yourself in Grand Marais!“

Voyageur Brewing Company Brewery • $$
233 W Hwy 61, Grand Marais

“This place has great beer and food (the Ruben egg rolls were recommended by our server and they did not disappoint) but I do have one criticism, THEY HAVE NO NA BEER OPTIONS. Their NA options are basically root beer, soda or lemonade. I really like this place, one of my favorite breweries in MN, but i feel like they need to get with the times and provide at least one NA beer option“

“I haven’t eaten there yet, instead closed down the place for an evening. The bartender was great, no nonsense, as was the place, and inexpensive too compared to most joints in townOne of the oldest buildings in town, it’s beautiful, though it needs some work, but so do I. I’d love to see some more TLC put into it. Regardless, it’s what I’d deem it to be this town’s dive bar and I love it!“
