My girlfriends and I have been coming to Skyport for several years now and we love it! Rochelle, family and staff are friendly, accommodating and just wonderful hosts. The furry hosts are so cute and friendly (Ranger and Bailey, you’re good boys!!) and kayaking on the giant lake is a blast! Having Raven Rock in the same building is a triple bonus. Highly recommend!!
Let me first start off by saying that I am sad we have to leave tomorrow. We certainly got more than we bargained for when booking this place. Not only are the rooms Competitively priced, they are bigger AND better than a cruddy ol' hotel. We Stayed in room #1. The layout has a HUGE bedroom with a separate sink area and then the toilet and shower/bath combo behind the door . The king size bed is a memory foam mattress. Had another amazing trip up to Skyport. Best atmosphere and even better people. You can never go wrong with anything on their menu! Best food and even better presentation. Truly recommend all to book your trip. The owners are the best and their dogs are always the sweetest.

Skyport Lodge & Raven Rock Grill is a fantastic place to stay, whether visiting Isle Royale or just needing a relaxing getaway. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and offer lovely views of the lake. Room #1 features a huge bedroom with a separate sink area, while the toilet and shower/bath combo are conveniently behind a door. The king-size bed has a memory foam mattress, ensuring a great night's sleep. Guests appreciate that there is no TV in the bedroom, but they find the living area, complete with a leather futon sofa, a lounge chair, a smart TV, and board games, very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, a toaster, microwave, oven, and a full sink, and it looks out over the lake. A wrap-around deck provides easy access to the water, and there is a small playground for kids.
The lodge is a great location for snowmobile trips in the winter, with excellent trails nearby and direct access to sleds right from the rooms. There are canoes and kayaks available, and a cabin by the water sells bait. Raven Rock Grill, run by a talented chef, offers outstanding food and a great atmosphere, making it a perfect place to unwind after exploring the area. The family-owned business is known for its warm hospitality, with the owners being friendly and welcoming. Guests highly recommend booking a trip here for a wonderful atmosphere, great food, and the chance to meet their sweet dogs. The lodge is dog-friendly, adding to the appeal for many visitors.
