“My waiter Addison was great and very attentive. However, the short rib sandwich was over cooked and over priced. On line there were a couple of items that I didn't see on the actual menu while at the restaurant. We were given the lunch menu at the front door, this really confused me, later Addison eventually figured it out. The rest of the experience was nice. The comedy acts were funny, except for the second to last guy, that totally bombed, as part of his act was to call all women bitches. He was poorly prepared, and otherwise was not funny at all, and should not be invited back.“

“Minneapolis can be intimidating for a small town Wisconsin girl like me. I was looking for a pub that felt like home and Mackenzie’s was exactly what I was looking for! Such a warm and cozy atmosphere. I was impressed by the very unique selection of seasonal cocktails and the pretty diverse menu (so many things looked good it was hard to decide). I’m still thinking of the Thai peanut wrap days later, seriously some of the best sauce I’ve had in my whole life. I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Minneapolis!“

“Really enjoyed my visit here while I was in town on a work trip. Stopped in for a beer and ended up also having one of their hot chicken sandwiches which was very flavorful and a good portion size. The beer was great as well, no surprise. Will definitely be returning if I lm in the area again.“

“You haven't done Northeast Minneapolis if you've never been to Slacks!! Good food, good drinks, good people watching. The original roast beef sandwich is no joke! Epically large portion that is delicious and guaranteed to put you in a meat coma while you're still chewing! I love love love the tots. You don't "need" them but the crunch is a great accompaniment to any meal.

expected standard pub fare, and were surprised to find really good brats and hot dogs. ordered a beet salad and all was fresh and flavorful. will keep it in mind for future forays into that area.“

I can confidently say Kevale is, without a doubt, the greatest bartender I have ever encountered. The level of professionalism and attentiveness he provides is staggering. He is a master of his craft, but more importantly, he possesses the rare ability to manage a busy bar while simultaneously making every single guest feel seen and immediately taken care of.

The true measure of his excellence is this: I don't live nearby, but I travel specifically to this location because I know Kevale works here. I will never hesitate to drive out of my way because I know he will never let you down or leave you hanging, whether you need a quick refill, a recommendation, or just a friendly face. His consistent reliability is why I am loyal.

“Partner and I stopped in for a quick breakfast. Service had a lot to be desired but can't expect too much from the cashier trying to be everywhere all the time. Otherwise tried to make a request for less sausage in burrito as Hy-Vee tends to be over the top with meat. Otherwise I had a banana and Nutella waffle and it was superb and definitely would have it again in thr future. Over all if you need breakfast in Robbinsdale, Hy-Vee for breakfast should be a contender.

Vegetarian options: There were tons of options a lot were meat based but a few different gluten free or vegetarian options.

Kid-friendliness: Sace for kids. Plenty of seats and open spaces.“

“Our waiter Ben was awesome- minor issues with brown lettuce on lettuce wraps, espresso machine not working, heat in building not working- but Ben more than made up for it with his amazing service. THAT is how all servers should react when situations they can't control happen, great dining experience, food was fantastic as always.“

The service was excellent and the food was very good. Afterwards, as I was leaving, the host caught me and asked how my meeting went - I really appreciated her attentiveness!“

The Almond chicken with eloté corn was a tremendous dish that I am very glad our server recommended, the quesadilla was also good and I'd recommend as a great dish to share. Margaritas looked great but I'll have to try them next time.“

“Fun college bar to go too. The music is a vibe. The bartender with the curly hair was really nice and made us her specialty shot pixie stick I think it was called. I also set my credit card on the bar with the number facing up and didn’t think anything of it and she flipped it over and said “oh no no hunny make sure your card is always facing down so nobody steals your credit card information!” So appreciated the advice! Overall great experience and great music! She made the drinks really fast and was always smiling so made the experience so much more enjoyable! I think her name was Alexis!“
