“We hosted a rehearsal dinner at the restaurant. We were in the private area of the restaurant, and it worked out beautifully for our 30 guests. The food was excellent! The biggest hits - the kale salad, the bruschetta, hot honey pepperoni pizza and the bacon & fig jam pizza. Our guests enjoyed the variety of pizzas and the unique flavors offered. The pizza came out fast and the staff kept up with everything that was eaten. Sometimes even asking guests what they liked and if they had special requests. I was able to spend time visiting with our guests and not worrying about the food or drinks. We were told repeatedly how much everyone enjoyed their meal- music to my ears! I cannot thank Spencer and Tyler enough- it really was extraordinary! They far surpassed our expectations- not only with the venue- but the truly tasty food. If you are in La Crosse - do not overlook this place!“

“So I grew up, and lived most of my life in Chicago and the greater Chicagoland area, and I recently relocated to La Crosse. I was pretty sure I was not going to be able to find genuine Chicago Tavern Style thin crust pizza here-I was wrong!!
South Lanes pizza is true Chicago style thin crust pizza (cut into squares, as pizza should be)-perfect crispy crust, the right amount good cheese and nice sauce going almost to the edge of the pie. The Italian sausage has incredible taste.
I hate to admit this, but South Lanes pizza is pretty much as good as anything you'd find in Chicago.
Now, as a lifelong Chicago Bears fan, I'm not going to be rooting for the Packers (or Vikings) anytime soon, but it's nice to know you can get great Chicago style thin crust pizza in Wisconsin!“

“My husband and I decided to go back to Big Al's and have pizza like we used to when we were first dating. They have remodeled since we last here, it looks great and it still has interesting things to look at. But, a couple things haven't changed. The pizza is still amazing, the service is still wonderful and the atmosphere is great for families and singles. I am so happy we went back.“

“Monday nights I come in, is the best time and day, I dont know the girls name who that bartends she is really friendly and polite she also has the best attitude 😌 towards me and my buddies that we go in to play pool. “It was not anyone's fault that the conveyor belt had stopped and part of pizza got burnt. The man that took our order came to tell us that half the pizza could be served and that another of the same was in oven and would be boxed for us if we wanted. Of course we agreed with their decision!“

“My husband and I took our girls there this evening and they had a blast, as usual. The cherry on top was that the kids got to meet Chuck E. Our youngest is obsessed with him and it was a dream come to true for her... better than meeting Santa if you ask her. Shout out to Maddie. She was so kind and my kids really like her. All of the employees are fantastic every time we go though. Highly recommend.“

“Fantastic pizza. We got a large regular (thin) crust pep. and half sausage. One of the better ones I have had in La Crosse. Would definitely get again. Delivery was very fast for 7pm on a Saturday night and was still super warm when we got it.“

“My wife and I stopped by last Friday (9/12/2025). Our first choice (suggested by our host) was the Red Pines Bar and Grill, but after being notified that it would be a 45-minute wait, we decided to go to Angelinis. We are so glad we did! Our first time in a real Italian restaurant. The waiter, after giving me a quick lesson in the correct pronunciation of "bruschetta," was very amiable and professional. A wonderful young man! The food was fantastic. The service was excellent, but the lighting was a little lacking. Some people were using their phone's flashlight to read the menu. Added Angelinis to our "Must Return If In The Area" list! Well done!“

“We happened upon this place after finishing some treats at Pearl's Ice Cream Parlor. This is a pretty straightforward NY style pizza place. You can order by the slice, which is exactly what we needed. Like most by the slice pizza places, they take the slice and throw it back in the oven for a few minutes before serving it to you. Overall, the pizza was pretty good and we'd definitely go back if we're passing through La Crosse and need a quick bite to eat.“

“The Rivoli Theatre is a great spot to catch a movie while enjoying pizza and a beer. It’s not the fanciest or most modern theater, but it’s been around since 1920, and that nostalgia adds to its charm. Sure, it’s a bit old-school, but that’s what makes it special. Plus, where else can you kick back, watch a movie, and enjoy a drink and a meal? The theater can be a little chilly, so dress warmly, but it’s a one-of-a-kind experience!“

“In town for the weekend for State dance competition. Looked for some things to do to fill the gap between times we needed to be at The LaCrosse Center and found this bowling alley! Great prices, awesome staff, and excellent food! Highly recommend! We had a blast! Will be back again if we find ourselves in town again 🎳😁“

“Clean Clean Pizza was very hot and very good...the best pizza in the area..... drinks for cold and well served the pop was delicious..well mixed... I did not try their hamburgers... They have very good ice cream and pie.. 4.9 out of 5 only the gods are perfect“
